KELSI POV

I mean,

I'm sort of sad,

But not really.

Am I?

NASH POV

Yes! Megan just agreed to go out with me. She is the most beautiful person I've ever met and I am so excited. Our first date went extremely well, she was so nice actually and so funny. I mean, I didn't really open up to her about much but she is H.O.T.! That's all that really matters because my fans wouldn't want me to be with someone anything less than hot.. Right?

KELSI POV

So it's Tuesday but Nash and Megan have become the thing. My nights now are filled with homework and music. No dancing in the street, laughing, hanging out with Nash..

I know it's probably because I'm jealous, but I feel like Megan's hiding something. All the school loves her and Nash, but I just can't itch off the feeling of her being something she's not...

Well, I've had my 3 days of a pity party for myself so it's time for me to be myself again.

"Hey mom," I yell, "can I go to the park with Jace?"

"Sure!" She yells back, "be home by 8!"

"Ok!" I yell back.

Our family is very loud if you haven't already noticed.

I tell Jace were going to the park and he runs downstairs excited.

I wish I was a kid again.

"So why are we going to the park?" He asks.

"I just wanted to get out and do something, just bored." I say.

"I know why." He states.

"Oh? Do you?" I raise my eyebrow.

"Yeah." He replies.

"Well spill if you think you know you little crap!" I poke his side.

He yelps and laughs but then gets quiet and says, "it's Nash isn't it?"

I just stay silent for a bit. "Well- I mean, I guess, not really, but yknow- it's not-" I keep stuttering.

"I'll take that as a yes." He simply puts.

Is my little brother trying to have a talk with me here? Lol I can't. OMG.

"Ok," he continues, "you have to play hard to get."

I look at him in disbelief, and huff. "Jace, don't worry, I'm hard to WANT"

We both laugh.

"But seriously," he continues, "I see the way Nash looks at you. It's not that he thinks you're hot." He says

Well thanks.

"Or pretty..." He continues.

Wow. Great pep talk. Jace : 120 Kelsi: -1.

"He must think you're beautiful."

My mouth drops for a second and then I punch him in the shoulder.

"He does not" I say.

"The way he looks at Megan is totally different. He just thinks she's hot. Belive me, I'm a boy, I know the different looks guys give to girls."

"Well Mr.Know it all, how do you suggest I help the situation then? I'm not going to fangirl over Nash."

"I'm not suggesting that. Just ignore him. No text, or call, or smiling in the hallways. Be occupied with your other friends!" He says.

That's actually great advice from my 14 year old brother.

"That was actually good advice, thanks Jace. Haha" I pat him on the shoulder.

We get to the park and there's a big crowd. What is this? I look at the billboards and it says "MAGcon"

Ohh, that's where all the famous binders go. Like cameron dallas, Nash, and some other people. Why wouldn't Nash tell me?

I brush the thought off, not wanting to overthink things, even though I already have, and check out what their doing here. Oh, it's a question poll thing.

"Jace, can we just stay for a couple of minutes and then go by the swings?"

I plead.

"Ugh find." He crosses his arms. He looks so pouty so I tickle him and people start to look at us. We awkwardly smile and stop laughing.. Haha.

The event starts and the boys answer a couple of questions and then it's Nash's turn.

Someone from the crowd shouts, "Nash, what girl have you gotten closest to this year?"

I take a deep breath. Maybe me?

"Well, I met this girl at the beginning of the year, we hated eachother and did not get along. After getting to know her, i had so much fun with her and I don't what I would do without her."

"And what is the name of this girl?! " someone shouts.

I think he's talking about me, am I getting my hopes up too high?

"Oh her name is Kels-erm... Megan. Haha sorry yeah it's Megan."

My heart.

I think it sort of broke, is that possible? Well, I knew this sort of thing would happen again. I knew when I forgave him he would hurt me again. I mean he's nash grier, what was I expecting, we were going to become great friends and both fall in love? No... I guess I wasn't. Jace is right, I just have to ignore him.

Jace pokes me, "are you ok?" He looks up at me.

"Yeah," I whimper out. "But Jace- I don't even want to win him back anymore. I just want to be happy at my high school years here- I don't want to be that girl that's dramatic. So, im going to move on, and I'm not going to play games. " I take a deep breath like I'm going to continue. I decide against it. "That's it." I give a half hearted laugh.

He laughs a bit.

"Well let's make the most of today then, day 1 of the forget about Nash project, infinity more to go." He smiles.

"Thanks bro." I laugh.

We run over to the Swings.

As I'm running I feel regret, the feeling of being torn, thinking of what could've been.

There's a voice inside of me telling to go back.

But there's a voice inside of me screaming not to.

And you know what I decided?

I decided to jump onto those gosh darn swings.
