3RD PERSON'S VIEW
jonghyun still had a couple hours to spare before minhyun's performance at noon. it only took him around 30 minutes to reach gangnam by the subway, which really made him wondered why he left house so early.
was he that eager to see minhyun?
left with no choice, jonghyun had to stroll down the streets of gangnam alone in order to kill time. he thought of entering an apparel store, maybe get some new outfits for himself. but he mentally slapped himself after realising most stores weren't open yet.
not long later, he found himself standing outside a cafe. the morning hunger urged him to step in and get something to bite, at least before he faints, not forgetting he has gastric problems.
pushing the door gently, jonghyun could hear the familiar sound the bells made. "welcome to 101 cafe!" a warm voice greeted.
jonghyun made his way to the counter and his eyes quickly scanned through the menu. "can i have a vanilla latte in tall size please?"
"that will be 5400 won," the tall and young barista said as he took his order. fumbling through his wallet for notes and coins, jonghyun managed to pay in exact. "thank you, your order will be served in 5 minutes," the barista smiled before proceeding to prepare the drink.
the cafe was rather empty, maybe because it was still early, or maybe it isn't as famous as the other larger chains down the other streets. but the cafe is rather cozy, and the drinks are definitely affordable.
he found a cushioned seat for two right at the corner of the cafe, where he placed his bag opposite of him. as he tapped his fingers impatiently on the table, the barista earlier on approached him with a tray.
"sorry to keep you waiting. here's your vanilla latte," he carefully placed the cup infront of jonghyun, "and also our famous blueberry cheesecake."
jonghyun blinked a few times before staring at the boy in confusion, "i didn't order this though?"
the barista chuckled lightly at his reaction. "i know. it's our free promotion, because you're the 11th customer of the day," he explained.
jonghyun nodded and thanked him. right before he turned and left, jonghyun managed to take a glance at his nametag.
kwon hyunbin.
