"minhyun, you missed the beat again."
"MINHYUN, ARE YOU LISTENING?!"
the dance choreographer finally snapped. for the past hour of practice, she constantly had to correct minhyun's mistake and this time, she just lost it.
the room went silence as she she crossed her arms and sighed heavily.
"i'm sorry.." minhyun, for the nth time, bowed and apologised. but the choreographer wasn't going to let it slide this time.
"i don't want to hear that. i don't see any improvement from you? do you treat this as a joke?" she faced minhyun, who had his head down in guilt.
"you've always been one of my top students but now you're easily the worst. if you're not getting yourself together, what's the point of me putting in effort to teach?"
"you know what, let's call it a day. if you're not serious about this, don't come for practice tomorrow," the choreographer picked up her belongings and angrily left.
the practice room was in silence. woojin hurried to him and patted his back. the other members also circled around him as they comforted him.
"sorry guys, i must be out of my mind.." minhyun mumbled.
"hwang minhyun, get yourself together, will you?" seongwoo slightly raised his voice. the members weren't expecting his reaction since he's the closest with minhyun.
"calm down, hyung," daniel mumbled beside seongwoo as he put an arm over his shoulder.
"we'll settle this in the dorm, let's go back first," leader jisung quickly put a halt to the conversation before it got heaty.

one by one, the members entered the dorm and stood around the living room as they waited for jisung who came in last.
jisung looked at seongwoo and minhyun, who were standing far apart from each other ever since the incident just now. he deeply sighed, "go wash up and gather here again for a talk later."
jaehwan and daniel, who share a room with seongwoo and minhyun, looked at each other as they felt the awkwardness in the room. seongwoo was sitting at the study table while minhyun sat on his bed.
jaehwan cleared his throat, "uh, anybody wants to shower first?"
seongwoo who continued swiping his phone didn't respond, neither did minhyun. jaehwan lightly bumped daniel's shoulder and whispered something in his ears.
"jaehwan, do you want to shower together?" daniel purposely asked. they wanted to leave some alone time for the both of them hence the plan.
"sure, let's go!" they grabbed their towels and clothes and quietly left the room.
seeing seongwoo still focusing on his phone, minhyun felt the atmosphere getting more awkward. he had never seen seongwoo this mad, and to be honest he was intimidated by that.
minhyun decided to visit jinyoung's room. he quickly stood up and headed for the door but seongwoo spoke suddenly, eyes shifting from his phone to minhyun,
"if you walk out then we're no longer best friends."
