"Ahhhh, the newbie! Whats up my man?! Names lucío, short, sweet, to the point! I'll be your DJ host this evening, helping teach you the in's and out's... "

Distant talking could be heard from other people as they all mentally prepared themselves for the fight.

Reinhardt had known you would be watching the battlefield but, it really didnt process successfully until now.

Staring up at your unsettled figure in the middle of the room. He couldn't help but, think of the worst possible outcomes of this fight due to his sudden urge to prove you his worth. Especially with todays line up...

Ana had sat patiently on a seat in the back of the carrier, sipping on a cup of tea, and waiting calmly for the countdown to start and for the doors to open.

She glanced up in rein's direction, and noticed he was idolizing the trainee. Even behind the mask she could read everything about him, and know his intentions.

As she lowered her tea cup from her lips, she traced the invisible line between the two of you that reinhardt had created and grinned from ear to ear.

It was honestly very cute to her, ana had never seen reinhardt this emotionally flustered and happy since their first honeymoon. It was great to see reinhardt up and onto his feet again.

///

Ana had joined overwatch about three years ago and she should have known reinhardt would be standing in the same position she was.

It had been 7 years since the break up and she was finally able to process and let it go before showing the courage and strength to join the league of heros known as overwatch.

She was honestly relieved at this point...if reinhardt had truley felt this way, the best thing to do was to let him go do his own thing. She wasn't going to stop him, how could she? To be honest, she felt happy for him. To a certain extent, things did trail off in their relationship and nothing could be rekindled. Hopefully finding somebody new for him in this new life was the best thing for him.

However, this subtle lingering feeling of nostalgia and hope kept pulling her down a little inside sometimes.

Locking eyes with reinhardt once again, felt like she had just saw her long lost friend. However, he had felt a little uncomfortable watching her walk up to his build in the facility hallway so relaxed but, rein did his best to keep a straight face.

"Reinhardt! It is so good to see you again!"

Ana made the first move to wrap her arms around the big brute.

"Ah! Ana!...It is a treasure to see you as well..."

As ana raised her eye lids in concern, she could sense the uncomfortableness in his tone.

Gently letting reinhardt quietly slip through out of her grasp. She still held onto his muscular arms, trying to keep his attention.

"Reinhardt, I am fine. If we are going to be working together, we might as well put all this tension behind us, right?"

Reinhardts shocked exterior could see her expression speaking those words and mentally examined for any underlying emotions. She was telling the truth...

He smiled and slowly released his strained muscles.

"...You are absolutley right amari."

She smiled bigger, walked taller, and felt better talking to rein' this way.

"So! Reinhardt, I must say you are looking quite well. This life must agree with you."

Ana began to walk past him as rein turned around to follow along side continuing the conversation.

"And you are looking as lovely as ever!"

When reinhardts birthday had quickly came, she was unfortunatly called for an important mission with jack.

She sat calmly in the front of the airship next to jack who was piloting.

Lifting the handles of the craft, jack felt a hidden emotion floating around the room. It had created a thick silence in the front pit, forcing morrison to speak up as he kept his eyes forward.

"Something is bothering you isn't it?"

His voice resting gently on the blanket of the relaxed yet uneasy aura.

Ana continued to stare at the dashboard of the ship, getting lost into her own mind about once was.

Her facial expression slowly lowered to sadness. She looked back on the relationship she had shared with rein' and couldn't help but feel, that it was her fault for not giving rein' the attention he deserved.

All the moments shared, were now shattered....crumbled, in the blink of an eye in her head.

She internally wanted to slump herself down further into her seat but, keeping her mind and body from slipping lower into this recall of past occurances. She kept herself as professional as possible.

"I'm fine."

Jack lifted his right eyebrow looking through his periphial vision in her direction. He could obviously see past this paper thin wall she had suddenly built. This was the first time he had seen her like this throughout the time they had been friends.

Even with eyes now on her, she kept her attention forward waiting to  accomplish the task before them.

Silently sighing to himself in defeat, his focus was now back on the clear skies ahead as they flew to their prefered destination.

As the internal cover up ana used, tried its best to push down the bubbling emotions she felt, it had just created more unwanted tension within herself.

Forcing things to sway in different directions even further beyond in her mind; athenas voice had played within the haul of the ship, clogging the sliver of space ana had left for a brief moment.

Approaching Watchpoint: Gibraltor

The countdown to landing the ship began in her head and in reality, hearing the numbers dial down signaling the start of the match.
