"you know how i feel about you wearing those to school, jayde." my dad sighed as i stepped into the kitchen. i glanced down at my outfit - black ripped jeans and an oversized t-shirt which i had tied at my waist. my whte converse were stained with dirt and grass and my army green backpack was on the verge of ripping. my blond hair sat on my broad shoulders and my dark eyes rolled themselves in a circle.

"they're just jeans." i slouched into a chair at the small table, my two brothers and father sat with me. i grabbed a banana from the bowl in the centre of the table, watching my mom in the kitchen while my little brothers spoke about some movie i didn't care about. i heard a car horn from outside, making me drop my banana skin on the table.

"later." i called as i practically raced out of the house, avoiding my parents making me eat more or take bill with me.

"hey short stack." belch grinned as i jumped into the empty seat in belch's car. henry and him sat in the front seats while i sat in between victor and patrick. the drive to school was short, when belch parked we all climbed up and i walked ahead of the boys and made my way to my locker. they caught up by the time i'd arrived and began to spin my locker combination into the lock. i felt on of the boys rest their chin on my head, i ignored him and pulled my english binder out of my locker before slamming it shut again.

"victor, you remembering that essays due tomorrow?" i smirked, watching his face drop.

"shit. fuck. oh my god." he spat.

"it's fine, i'll help you with it." i laughed, making him jokingly punch my arm. "or not, have fun."

"no! i'm sorry! please help!" he pleaded. i laughed again, winking at him. i always helped victor with english and he always helped me with math. as for the other boys, they were hopeless in any class that wasn't lunch.

"come to my place, like, 6?" i suggested. he nodded just before the bell rang. patrick and i made our way to biology while the rest of the boys went to their own classes.

lunch rolled around. instead of heading to the cafeteria like the rest of the school, i went to the back of the school to be greeted by the boys. i slumped down against the building, swiping the cigarette from patrick's hand and inhaling it.

"she's being quiet. somethings wrong." henry looked down at me.

"i'm just tired." i told them, raising the cigarette back to my lips.

"bullshit." victor walked up, standing beside henry. i rolled my eyes at the boys, putting the stolen cigarette out against the wall behind me.

"wanna skip?" patrick smirked, i shoved him gently and shook my head.

"i can't, i have a test." i groaned, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"still up for tonight though? kinda need you to be." victor spoke, staring at patrick and i intently.

"don't panic, you guys can still fuck." henry snorted, making victor punch his arm.
