Yunah opened the door and saw the most shocking scene in her life. It looked like something she's seen in horror movies. It seemed so unnatural and impossible she couldn't believe her own eyes.

Seokjin was lying on the floor of his living room, with his arms being fully covered in blood. He was just lying unconscious. The horrific scene made Yunah's whole body shiver.

She wanted to scream, but she just couldn't. Her vocal cords lost the ability to make sound when she saw her best friend lying on the floor, possibly dead.

When she entered the apartment, she was still intoxicated by all the shots she took until she exited the club, but this sight suddenly made her sober.

With small steps, she approached Seokjin and kneeled next to him. Though Yunah wanted to react faster, the shock left her almost paralyzed.

Although Yunah was shaking like crazy, she was able to find Seokjin's phone that was right next to him. She immediately called the ambulance.

She was barely able to explain what she saw. It was too hard for her to talk, but hopefully she managed to explain what was going on and after the dispatcher heard words suicide attempt, the voice of a younger man said that the ambulance will be there as soon as possible.

"Are you his girlfriend?" - One of the medical staff asked?
"No, no, I'm his best friend...", Yunah said in confusion,"Am I allowed to go with him?"
"Of course. Get in the vehicle, miss."
"Thank you very much." - Yunah said and bowed.

They were heading to the closest hospital that was 2 kilometers from Seokjin's building. They were driving very fast cuz Seokjin's case was very serious.

After they came, Seokjin was sent to ER. Yunah was told to sit and wait in the waiting room. She was very nervous because one of the doctors told her to call Seokjin's parents and tell them what happened.

Yunah knew what their reaction was going to sound like and she tried to mentally prepare herself for what was going to happen.
As soon as she phoned Seokjin's mother and told her very concisely what happened, the crashed woman started screaming.

"Seokjin did what?!" - Said the woman and through screams started talking something unintelligible. For Yunah, it didn't matter what she was talking, she was just trying to calm Seokjin's mother down.

The woman was repeating Seokjin's name over and over again, adding oh's every time she called her endangered son's name. After she found a strength to say something rather than screams, sighs and Seokjin's name, the mother finally asked something intelligible.

"Where are you now, Yunah?" -
Yunah gave the right location to Mrs. Kim.
"Ok, I'm coming!" - The lady hung up and Yunah just locked the screen and started thinking about the next problem.

Even though she was so smashed when the whole drama between Seokjin and Namjoon happened, she was able to see something wasn't right by the way Namjoon exited the club and how Seokjin tried to stop him.

She was wondering for a while and in the end decided not to call Namjoon. Seokjin's mother was going to come every moment and it wouldn't be good for both of the boys to get involved in an even bigger problem.

Few minutes later a furious woman came into the waiting room.
"Where is he?!"
"Seokjin's in this room, miss. The doctor didn't allow me to come inside and told me to wait here until he gives me more information." - Yunah explained.

Seokjin's mother wasn't pleased by the answer, but she knew it was a protocol and she couldn't simply run into the room like crazy.

The two of them were sitting and waiting not saying a word few more minutes until the doctor came outside and approached them. He cleared his throat and started talking in a sedate intonation.

"Somehow the boy didn't cut his veins completely vertically. The razor moved to the side a little, but enough not to damage his main arteries. He was very lucky."

Both Yunah and Mrs. Kim sighed in a relief, but they still worried what was going to happen next. The doctor continued.

"He lost consciousness because of the blood loss and it's also possible he got in the shock when he saw the amount of blood. He should feel very lucky because you found him right after he did that. If you wouldn't have arrived ten minutes later, he wouldn't have survived."

Yunah put her head down, feeling shy, but also very happy she saved her best friend's life.

"He's sleeping now. His pulse is a little lower, but within the normal limits."
"Doctor, is he really going to be alright?" - Mrs. Kim asked still sounding clearly worried.

"Yes he is, but the bigger problem is that this was a suicidal attempt..", the doctor stopped to cough,"You'll have to help him get through this emotionally and mentally. His physical state will be fine, but the psychological state is the bigger problem. You'll have to work hard in order to make him feel better. You should prepare for a long process."

"Oh, I understand... Thank you for helping my son, I owe you everything!"
"I'm just doing my job, miss." - The doctor said and smiled.

"When will we be able to see him?" - Yunah asked concerned.
"You can see him now. It's very late, so you can stay with him till the morning."
"Thank you very much, doctor." - Yunah bowed.
"No problem." - The doctor smiled and went out of the waiting room.

Seokjin's mother and Yunah went in the room where Seokjin was sleeping. He had his hands wrapped in bandages and a needle in his hand from which he was receiving infusion.

"Oh, my baby, my son..." - Mrs. Kim was shedding tears as she sat next to her son. Yunah felt like she was interrupting a very intimate moment between family members.

"Poor BabyJin." - Yunah said through teeth for herself. After few minutes of silence, Seokjin's mother started asking Yunah questions.

"For how long has he been depressed?"
"I.. I.. I really can't tell. He didn't seem depressed at all.. All of this happened so suddenly.." - Yunah didn't know what to say.

"Did he tell you he was about to do this?"
"No, miss. Seokjin never seemed like he'd be able to do something like this."

"But I'm sure he talked to you about his problems, his friends' opinions are very important to him." - Seokjin's mother said and put the convinced look on her face.

"Yeah... We talked about life problems that all of us have, but I couldn't have known it was going to explode like this..." - Yunah said.

She couldn't simply tell Seokjin's mother he was gay because she didn't know how she would react, so she just decided to change the topic.

After tones of questions Seokjin's mother asked, both of them heard someone's voice that said something behind them.

"Why are you talking bout me behind my back?" - Seokjin's weak shaky voice asked.

The two women smiled from ear to ear, giving their son and best friend an enormous hug. Mrs. Kim and Yunah couldn't help, but shed a lot of tears cuz it felt like a miracle seeing their beloved Seokjin alive.
