Welcome to my author's note! Before you read this story, I wanted to introduce myself. So it's okay if you wish to skip this part and get on to the story. If you're still reading, hey thank you for deciding to continue on!Nice to meet you, I go by Diana Dayer. This is my first story that's not a fanfiction. As a high school senior, I decided to create a story about two characters who finally have an interesting adventure before they leave off into the real world. Of course, everything's fictional. But some things may be taken from experiences I've lived through, or heard.
Throughout my thirteen years of academics, I've gone through things, and had "goals." One of them was wanting to be popular, believe it or not. I would do anything to become a popular girl during my middle school years (which didn't go well). In fact, I was the annoying loser everyone in my grade didn't wish to associate with. I'm the one who your siblings or cousins would tell you to stay away from. It led me to think that I was inferior, but I learned throughout the years that I'm not. I just gotta wait for the right crowd to appear.
This story talks about the popularity, what may go on behind people's lives, and to teach people about finding yourself. Many people tend to hide their identities and think that others have it easy when they actually don't. The message I want to bring to all of Wattpad is to be yourself, and to never forget who you are. It's to teach you to step out of your normal comfort zone if you're always tired of the same routine. If you feel like you're lost, just hold on. You will be found.
Also, I wish to bring the effects of what happens when you put others down. I want people to think of what they're going to do to others. Is it worth doing or saying those things? What do you wish to leave behind as a legacy? The good you've done that sprinkles all over, or the negativity you scarred like a cake frosting? Think about it when you read the story.
