Dear Tamaki-Stickered Diary,

Well, just when I thought my life might get better, it doesn't. (And people wonder why I'm a pessimist?)

"Why, Sakura-chan," you may be saying, "with all your bad thoughts, is there any wonder why your life sucks right now?"

Which will lead to me saying, as a rebuttal:

"No, no wonder. I summoned the storm whilst holding a lightning rod; lightning went zap. But all the same, Your Honor, I don't deserve this. At all. Whatsoever."

But, anyway, let me explain my sourness. For whatever reason, Tamaki's grandmother enrolled me, Sapphire (who's staying with us because...well, nukes), and Tamaki in a school whose name escapes me right now.

Let me repeat this again.

Tamaki's. Frigging. Grandmother. Enrolled. Me. In. A. School. In. A. Country. Whose. Language. I. Still. Haven't. Mastered. Yet.

Can we get a "Holy Bad Idea, Batman!" over here?

- Sakura.

"I don't get why you're so panicky," said Sapphire, twirling in a heavily modified sailor uniform, "I mean, don't Japanese schools make it a habit to teach students English?"

"Even if that was the case, I still probably won't understand jack. I mean, said English might be butchered via strong, strong accent, or this school might be an exception and not have English as a class-"

"Ringo, calm down!" Tamaki grinned, pulling on a sweater. "Everything's going to be fine! Just like always!"

I gave him an odd look. "Your definition of 'fine' must differ from mine."

"You're just being a...uh, what's that American saying that Sapphire occasionally screams at you?"

"Negative Nelly?"

"That's it; you're just being a Negative Nelly. Daijoubu, Ringo!"

I facepalmed. "Still can't really understand Japanese yet, Tamaki..."

"Oh, for Arceus's sake," Sapphire made a tsking sound and rolled her eyes, "even a weeb would understand that!"

"What's a weeb?"

"Look it up or something," she tilted her head to get a better view of the 'foreign eyecandies', "I've got a craving that needs to be fulfilled pronto! Byeee~"

With that, she ran like the wind.

"I've never seen her run that fast before," an awed Tamaki commented, "she should try out for track or something; she'll set a record or two!"

"If there's a really hot guy at every finish line," I cracked a grin, "but never mind that; our first day at Japanese school awaits us."

"That's the spirit! Let's...gooooo!"

He grabbed my arm and started running in a random direction, yelling/singing something about wizards.

"Class, we've got two new students," said a petite teacher, alternating between Japanese and (surprisingly good) English much to my glee, "please introduce yourselves!"

Tamaki grinned sheepishly, then said, "boku wa...Tamaki Suoh. Yorushiku onegai itashimasu."

"Yorushiku," our classmates choursed. Then all eyes shifted on me, and I had an odd flashback of Sapphire dragging me on a joyriding spree in Chicago and almost getting us killed.
