Liams POV
Did they just say Harry loves me? But that's foolish, Harry love me back. It can't be. He turns to look at me and he looks so scared like a deer in the headlights.
“So…” He starts.
“So?” I question getting up from the bed and moving towards him. He moves back until his back hits the door. I keep moving until I'm almost flush with him.
“Um, Liam” He says, gulping.
“Yeah, Haz.” I can't stop glancing down at his lips.
“What are you doing?”
“Well, I'm wondering what Niall and Lou were just on about?” I say, honestly curious.
“Um, They were on about the fact that I, well, that I, um, am in love with you.” He said looking down. What? This s the first conversation I've had with Harry in weeks and he tells me he loves me. Not that I don't reciprocate the feelings, it's just why couldn't he have told me sooner before Niall and oh Niall.
“Oh” Is all I say and I fell horrible when his face falls. Tears prickle his eyes. “Harry-“
“No, Liam. I get it you just don't feel the same way.” He says crying. I'm about to deny it when I remember Niall, I can't hurt Niall so I just stay quite.
“I'm sorry, Harry.” I can feel tears prickling my eyes, too.
“So you don't feel the same way.” His lower lips wobble. And to protect Niall and myself I lie.
“No” I say, looking down. That's when my walls break and the tears start pouring from my eyes.
“Why the hell are you crying, Liam? You aren't the one who just confessed your love to your best friend and got rejected.” He snarls at me and I flinch at his harsh tone. I turn to the door.
“Louis, please open the door.” I beg and a moment later Louis opens the door shaking his head. I step past him, and go to Niall and I's room, crying. I shut the door and just sob into my pillow. Why did I lie? I love Harry. So much it hurts. It hurts so much.
Knock, Knock!
“Liam?”
“Go away” I sob.
“It's Niall.” No I don't want him to see me like this.
“I just need some time alone Ni” I say.
“Ok” He sounds hurt. Great first Harry now Niall who won't I hurt today.
AWWWW! I almost cried writing this. Anyway, It will get happier. Maybe.... ;)
