Chapter 2//Confusion

     This is the part of the story where things do indeed get confusing. I was confused, you're gonna be confused, just...just believe us.

          Virgil's POV

     I sleepily opened my eyes, getting accustomed to the morning light. I was on the couch, and surprisingly warm. As I went to remove the blanket Roman had given me, I realized something...

     I wasn't in my body.

     Panic shot through my mind, and I was completely terrified.

     I had on a light purple vest, with a black undershirt. I had a cloak that was a deep royal purple, with a gold clasp with a ruby red gem on it.

Woah woah woah! Virgil, calm down!

W-What?

I know you're confused just let me explain!

Wait-one question.

Yes?

Are we communicating by thoughts now?

It appears so...

Okay, get to explaining, Pretty Boy.

Okay, so we somehow fused with each other, and I have no idea how this happened and we're stuck with one another until we find a solution.

...

I-It isn't that I don't like you!

I know, I'm just...I'm very confused right now.

Me too, let's go talk to Logan. Maybe he knows what's happening...

     We set off to find Logan, desperate for answers. It was kind of hard controlling our bodies as one, but we managed.

     We stumbled our way looking for him, and finally found him. He froze in place, obviously shocked.

     "Y-You..." He stuttered. "We fused." I said...or, we said? I don't know. "V-Virgil...Roman? You two fused?" Logan asked. "Lucky guess." Roman said. "...h-how did this happen?" Logan asked. "No idea. It just...did." I said.

     "I'll be right back." He said, rushing away from us.

Didn't know we were that terrifying.

Oh come on, Virge!

     Logan rushed right back with Patton. "So they fused?" Patton asked, paying no attention to us. "Apparently so." Logan said. Patton looked at us, a surprised look on his face. "Oh no.." Logan mumbled. "W-What?" I asked.

     "Thomas is recording a Sanders Sides video next week. Y-You two know how to unfuse, right?" He asked worriedly. "Don't you think we would've done that already, genius?!" I screamed.

Darling, calm down.

I-I'm sorry...I-I didn't...

It's okay, just breath. It'll be okay.

     I took a deep breath. "This is a predicament..." Logan mumbled. "I'll go inform Thomas. The Fanders will be very disappointed..." Logan mumbled the last bits before sinking down.

Why wouldn't they be disappointed? That's all we do to them. They expect something amazing and get something highly below their expectations...

     "Well, um, d-do you know how this happened?" Patton asked. "No. It just did." Roman said. "Well, um, h-how about you guys go to one of your rooms? Maybe...take a nap or something? I don't know..." Patton trailed off.

     "Sounds good to me." I said. Roman and I started walking off in the direction of our rooms. When we got to where they were supposed to be, they were...gone.

What?! Rooms just can't disappear like this!

Maybe this is a result of us fusing...

I mean...I guess...

Why would it do this?

I mean, this is the mindspace, so...

That's true, Virge.

So...what do we do now?

But...but we can't just do that!

     We started walking around, opening and closing doors that had been there but we never went to see inside before. At the very end of the hall which contained our rooms, which was a long hall, we stumbled upon a door.

     The door had a silver door knob, that reflected us. The door was dark gray, and it had very fancy designs on the rim of it.

     We slowly turned open the door knob and opened the door. The room was a light lilac color, with a big window directly across from where we were standing. There were light gray curtains softly spread across it.

     The window had a small indent in the wall to act as a window seat. There was a bed directly in the center of the right of the room. The bed was giant, with pillows sprawled all across the headboard of it. There were blankets upon blankets on it, and each of them looked amazingly fluffy.

     There was a light gray sprawled from the ceiling down the floor, giving the bed a nice royal effect. There was a small desk directly across from the bed, with a Macbook and a small vase with a purple rose placed gently inside.

     I was awestruck, it was absolutely stunning.

I...guess this is our room now.

Yeah, guess it is.
