Chapter 8

Jay's POV

So, I was looking for Carlos for some early morning practice before breakfast because he wasn't in our dorm, when Diera shoulder bumped me with a smirk on her face and continued going- wherever she was going.

"Hey Diera," I said, not sure what I was doing but yet again, I can figure out why she's acting that way. Then I'll figure out where Carlos is and why he wasn't in our dorm. She turned around with that same smirk.

"Hey Jay," she said, stepping closer to me. Now Diera is being creepy. She had a spray can in her hand.

"So, what are you doing?" I asked. I don't get why Carlos likes her. I mean don't get me wrong, she has the looks. She is really pretty but still, she's acting like she's lost her mind. Literally, her mind is around here somewhere and we need to find it before the tourney field goes up in flames and that's what you normally see on the Isle, minus the field, just the fire. The spray cans in her hand are slightly scaring me.

"Me, oh em, why does it concern ya eh?" She said, slowly in a pirate accent, just like Harry's!

" No, uh, I'm just wondering if have seen Carlos?"

"He's in the brat's room, that gal is acting too nice, makes me angry." I gave her a confused look like she was crazy and she barked at me which made me even more confused. "Haha, I just love pirate accents. I've always kinda had a thing for Captain Hook's son." Diera said normally. I was about to pass out at that moment. I have never been that scarred in my life from hearing those words and I came from the Isle, home of scarring. "Aww, Jay, looks like you've lost ya touch." She started walking the same way she came. "Ya coming eh? I don't have all day." She led me to Audrey's room. I thought Carlos didn't like Audrey though.... Diera kicked her door open. "GO." She said normally, pushing me in the room. Chad was bouncing around Diera trying to talk to her, Carlos and Audrey were doing something; I guess talking and Diera sprayed Chad's clothes with the spray can she had.

"Guys," I said, but nobody listened. "Guys!" I said, still no one listened except Diera who heard me.

"Y'all." She said and everyone else paid attention to her even though she said it quieter than I did. "Take it away Jay." Diera said, then everyone turned their attention towards me.

"Okay now that I have everyone's attention, what happened! I mean, Carlos, why are hanging out with Audrey? Not that it's a bad thing, it's just, why?! Chad, why are you hanging around Diera like she promised you cake that she still hasn't given you?! Why are you guys acting so weird?!"

"Well that's easy, De Vil and Audrey here are together and Chad tricked me into working with him to get Audrey back." I was shocked along with Audrey and Carlos.

"So what you want to work with him?" Carlos asked.

"No! I'm not stupid, if I don't Chad is either bother me for the rest of my life or find a way to embarrass me in front all the Auradon students or worse!" Chad is always doing something to trick people. First Evie and now Diera. And she's a new student!

"How do you do this to people Chad? Especially when Diera is a new-" I started.

"I'm not a new student." That was surprising news from Diera.

"That makes a lot of sense now!" Wow. I mean it wasn't too obvious, that's why it's so shocking.

"Anyway, Chad, you can't keep doing that."

"Fine." Chad said and stormed out of the room.

"Did you do this to get closer to Carlos?" I asked Diera.

"No...DON'T QUESTION ME! Now that Chad has stopped his scheme-" She sat in between Audrey and Carlos. "-This Audrey Carlos thing can stop right here. Yeah, I found out. Next time, don't leave your diary open Audrey." Audrey had her mouth opened so confused will Carlos looked relieved.
