Chapter 1

**Perrie's POV**

I'm so excited!! Yesterday began the third year of collage, so it's almost done. Yes, I hate school. But everybody thinks I love it. But I like that. If you say you love school, the teachers giving your higher grades. Because they think you like them. And if you laugh at their "jokes", they think they're funny. But they absolutely aren't. And everybody leaves you alone, because they think you tell the teachers if they do something to you. So yeah, actually I like my live in school, but I absolutely don't love it.

'Pez!' I hear a yell from not far away.

'Oh, hi Jade!' I greet.

Jade is my best friend. Most of the people in school don't understand, because Jade is one of the biggest party animals in school. I won't say she's a slut, but if she's drunk... Yeah, I think you know what happens....

'Pez, I heard there's a new boy in school. Maybe something for ya?' she chuckles.

Yeah, that's something I like about Jade, and why she isn't a slut. She doesn't keep boys for her own. If there's a boy who I like, she tries to couple us.

But I'm not really over my ex-boyfriend. He was a asshole, but I really loved him, I did. But he spoiled it. (A/N I know you want to know what happened, but I promise it'll come later.)

'No, I really don't want or need a boyfriend right now.' I tell her. She looks at me, and then nods. Jade's the only one who knows about Michael, my ex. It's hard to talk about it, but Jade is like a therapist and keeps my talking to her. So she knows everything. And I trust her.

'But he's kinda hot. And he looks nice.' she says, shutting my out my thoughts.

The only way to make her shut her mouth, is agree with it.

'Okay, I'll take a look. But I need to go to class right now.' I don't wanna spoil my reputation as "good girl" just because of some new guy.

'Yayy!!' Jade cheers. She wants me in a relationship so bad. She says it will focus me on other things then Michael. Because I'll think of him to much. On unlucky nights I have nightmares. Yeah, I know, I'm panicking to much, but I just can't forget him, even though I want it so bad.

I already tried to think about my mom, but that didn't really help. My mom and I get hit by my dad. Michael hit me too, well, sometimes, but my dad... I just couldn't get used to it. My dad suppose to love me and my mom. But instead, he doesn't. And I hate him. My mom says he loves us, he's just worried. I don't believe her, because when my dad isn't home, she cries all day and night. Now I'm used to it.

'So, Perrie, the good girl...' a strange voice breaks my thoughts.

I didn't realize Jade and I been walking to the boy while I'll was thinking.

'Well, you may think that.' I answer.

'I may think that? Isn't it true?' he asks, raising his eyebrow.

For the first time I look at him. Beautiful brown eyes, dark hair, muscular arms. Jade was right. He is kinda hot. Wait... Where is Jade.

Anyway, the boy is still looking at me

'Well?' he asks.

'Everybody thinks I am, and trust me, it works in my favor.' I tell him. Then I give him my "sweet smile". He smirks.

'Playing good, Edwards.' he says and walks away. Wait, how does he know my name? I walk away too, because I'm late for class. Ugh, there go's my title as "never to late for class". And that's his fault. He's cocky. But I must admit I like him. Just a little.
