Alya's Plan

In the Ocean

Marinettes POV

     As Chloe drags Adrien off, Alya drags Nino off, and Ivan and Mylene exit. I realize everyone is trying to get some time alone. I'm the on left alone. Then Nathaniel approaches me.

    "I know you don't like me back, but maybe we can still be friends." He says.

     Seeing I had no other options and always wanted to get to know Nathaniel "Sure" I replied.

    We had along conversation, turns out we both love lady bugs. We both find cats annoying and we both love the beach. We were getting along pretty well.

    Then I noticed Adrien swimming through the water right past me to get away from Chloe. Chloe was trying to follow. He ran off to the cabin, but I heard him say "Leave me alone, Chloe!!!"

     I say bye to Nathaniel and start to follow Adrien to see if he's ok.

Adrien's POV

     Chloe was talking, but I couldn't really hear. I was focused on Marinette, she reminded me of someone. I couldn't quite place it, then I noticed Nathaniel walking up to her.

    My brow furrows as he they start to talk like old friends.

     "I love lady bugs too!" I hear Marinette say enthusiastically.

    I do not like that tomato talking to my Marinette. Wait, mine? Since when was she- My thoughts are interrupted by Chloe's face coming closer to mine.

    "Get off me!!!" I yell. I start to swim towards the shore.

    "But-but Adrikins!!!!" Chloe said over dramatically like always.

    I come close to Marinette, and start to swim past. "Leave me alone, Chloe!!!" I yell.

     I finally reach the cabin, and feel safe. I run into the living room, and plop down onto the couch.

     A few seconds later, Marinette comes in the door.

    "H-hi Adr-Adrien" she stutters "Are y-you umm o-ok uh."

     "Not really" I responded.

    With a look of determination on her face Marinette says "Do you want to tell me what's wrong?"

    "Chloe tried to kiss me" I say quietly. An angry look appears on Marinette's face.

    "That brat is obsessed with you" she responds. "She won't let anyone else near you" Marinette adds even more quietly than I spoke.

    I start to pour out my heart and soul to her. Even things I haven't told Nino. By the end I feel relieved and drop off to sleep with my head on Marinette's lap.
