Marinette's POV
I sit on the couch, with my head in my hands. Alya sits next to me, rubbing my back. Everyone is furious. I'm not. I'm disappointed. At this point, I have no fury left.
We hear a knock on the door, Alya gets up and opens it. Rose, Juleka, and Mylene walk in.
"Hi Mari" Rose says sweetly like only Rose can "how are you holding up?"
"I'm.... fine" I reply quietly. My voice appears to be gone, I can only talk softly and quietly now.
"I brought you some chocolate chip cookies" Mylene offers.
"Thanks" is barely audible. Mylene hands me the plate. I grab one and take a bite. "Delicious."
"Thank you" Mylene responds.
"Now, let's get down to business" Alya sings the last part to the Mulan song. "What's for revenge?" Alya asks with a evil cackle.
"No revenge" I say. I don't want to hurt home like he hurt me.
"None?" Alya asks in a sad voice with puppy dog eyes.
"Let's not sink to his and Chloe's level, Alya" I reason.
"Let's respect Marinette's wishes" Juleka adds in a shy voice. I nod, but remain silent.
Then there is another knock at the door. Juleka, is standing so she opens it.
Adrien walks in. ADRIEN of all people. He has no right. "Mari, hear me out" he begins.
Alya stands up and brandishes her fists in a menacing way.
"It never happened, I didn't even know about until I was told. Chloe just wanted to ruin our happiness" he continued in a rush.
I hold up my hand, and Alya stops. "Is it true?" I ask.
"I swear" Adrien responds. He sounds genuine.
"You understand I might forgive you, but it will take awhile for you to earn back my trust" I add.
"As long as I get you back, Princess" Adrien says.
"Here's what I've decided" I begin. "We are......"
