Seven

                   F L A S H B A C K

          "Aubrey, I don't think I can board the plane. Beca confessed her feelings. It's the same. I...she ran off" Chloe said in the bathroom stall. Her tears streaming down her face with a bunch of sniffles. She wore Beca's flannel remembering the words that Beca had just said.

          "Chloe, this is your dream! You are going to Los Angeles to make your first album. You heard what your manager said. This can be huge!" Aubrey encouraged. Aubrey knew how much Chloe loved the small brunette. She even knew Beca felt the same. Though, she was surprised she ever confessed. Especially on a day like this.

          "What made her say that Aubrey?" Chloe asked. It's not like Chloe did not want to hear it, but today of all days?

          "I don't know. Maybe she finally sacked up?" Aubrey asked causing a giggle to escape Chloe's lips by the phrase the small brunette has used multiple times.

          "I'm gonna go. My flight leaves in 20" Chloe whispered. She took a deep breath and grabbed her bag off of the floor.

          "You can do this. If she really loves you...she would want the best. I bet you in 5 years time you'll be in bed together and I'll be regretting ever saying that" Aubrey said knowing it would make the girl laugh, which it did.

          "Thanks Aubrey" Chloe whispered.

          "No problem, go kill it in LA for me" Aubrey said and they both said goodbye. The call ended and with that, Chloe walked out to board a plane to LA.

          Chloe sighed as she slumped in the chair Beca just sat at. She then knew the one person to call. The redhead snatched her phone and quickly hit the contact name. It rang 3 times and Chloe took a sigh of a relief when she heard it pick up.

          "PUT YOUR BACK INTO IT COME ON!!!! Hello?" Aubrey went from yelling to talking normal.

          "Aubrey" Chloe sighed in the tone of voice Aubrey knew all too well. Her bestfriend was hurting.

          "You take care of this, I need to take this" she heard Aubrey say and heard her walk off. It switched to FaceTime and Chloe accepted it. Chloe looked awful. Her hair was a mess, her eyes were red and puffy, tears streaming down, her cheeks a angry red. Obvious she was fighting.

          "What happened?" Aubrey asked as she sat in her car for the privacy. Aubrey still ran that boot camp for teams. It had gotten extremely popular, but she always made time for Chloe. She was her bestfriend since they were five years old. Chloe also always made time for her.

          "Well uh" Chloe chuckled as she wiped her cheeks. "Beca...she is producing my album and she was here. We just fought" Chloe said.

          "Wow, haven't heard her name in years" Aubrey said. "How bad?" Aubrey added.

          "Pretty bad" Chloe said. "She ended it with saying I broke her heart the day she confirmed her feelings" Chloe said and felt tears escape her eyes again.

          "Shit. I'm sorry Chloe" Aubrey sighed. "I might have an idea" Aubrey smirked and made a group chat without Beca or Chloe in it.

          "Aubrey why did you pause-"

          "I got a text. I have an idea, keep it business between you two for now so your album turns out great" Aubrey said. She didn't tell Chloe about her real plan, nor Beca.

           Aubrey: Hey!! Okay so, I told you! 5 years and those two would be at least around one another. Chloe called and Bechloe just had an awful fight. I might have an idea if anyone is interested!

          Aubrey went back to the call and got Chloe to calm down. After a bit they both had to go, but the group chat Beca and Chloe had no idea about kept going.

           Amy: That explains Beca's outburst on me

          Stacie: Sending you ten bucks right now Aubrey

           Cynthia Rose: Saw Beca the other day at the bowling alley with Jesse though

          Aubrey: Well this fight was brutal. Ended in Beca basically yelling at Chloe about breaking her heart. Also Amy, Beca's smoking?

          Amy: Yeah, that habit picked up when she was visiting family. Think it was Eliza who got her in it. She hates it, but it gets her mind off stuff it seems. Also keeps her calm

          Stacie: Damn, so Aubrey. What's the plan?

          Aubrey: Can you guys get a plane to LA?

         Beca walked in the house and sighed. She was livid over the fight that she had with Chloe still.

          "Oi-" Amy went to cheer her about the recent boyfriend to her bestfriend.

          "Not now Amy!" Beca snapped and barged into the bedroom. The door slammed which shook the walls of the house a bit.

           Beca looked in her bag and saw Chloe had kept the cigarettes. A couple mean things were muttered under her breath as she got ready to go have dinner with Jesse. The girl got changed into black skinny jeans, her boots, a white loose tshirt, and her leather jacket. Her hair was wavy and her makeup was it's usual dark.

          "I'm leaving!" Beca announced to Amy. Amy just looked away in reply. "What?" Beca asked.

          "I heard about the fight Beca. You can't just go and hang out with Jesse after that!" Amy said as she was making herself mac and cheese. She stood next to the stove and stirred the spiral shaped pasta.

          "Why can't I? He's just a friend-" Beca was cut off by Amy's snicker.

           "Yeah, okay" Amy mocked with a snicker.

          "What?" Beca asked as she finished putting in her left earring.

          "He's into you Beca. It's obvious" Amy sighed. "You can't go and see the guy who has a boner for you when you and Chloe could be making up-"

          "I'm sorry, making up is screaming at each other?" Beca asked. "I don't want to deal with that. We keep it at a professional level and she can continue with her boyfriend. I have to go, see you later" Beca said and left before Amy could speak.
