the bell rang and my first day of school is finally over. the day went quick and everyone was so nice but its a really hot day and i want to go to the beach for a sure, if the surf is good. i had just finished child studies and lets just say it was a very interesting class. As soon as i walk out of the classroom i here my name
"Lyla!" i hear someone yell, it was a deep voice so i know it was a boy. then i see Grayson Dolan walk up to me.
" hey i just called out to you did you not here me?" he said standing right in front of me.
" i did i just thought it was austin so i ignored it" i said with a laugh.
" your brother is a nice guy and he really cares about you. " he said looking into my eyes.
" i noticed" i said looking back into him beautiful hazel eyes.
" come on Gray lets get out of the hell hole" Alex says pulling Grayson arm the leave the school.
" ill see you around Lyla" he say touching my shoulder and i intently felt a spark it was like static electricity but different. no no jo i cant be falling for the player of the school again.
i start to walk out of school and i see austin leaning against a brick wall.
" look who it is" austin said standing straight up from the walk.
" Its me!" i said flipping my hair with a laugh.
" mums waiting in the car lets go"
"Lyla, i haven't see you since last period" i hear mallory say behind me
" oh hey mal how are you" i say as i turn around and give her a smile
" i'm great, don't forget theres a party on Wednesday" she says smiling at me.
" who's party is it?" i say
" the Dolan's" she says smirking
" anyways ill see you tomorrow, bye" she says walking off with her group.
" well i guess we are both going to the same party." austin says walking down to mums car with me
" i guess so." i say smiling
we both got in the car and drove back to the house. mum of course asked us how our day was so we filled her in. she overreacted when i told her i was friends with popular girls and austin told her that he was with the popular guys.
we reach our drive we and we all hope out of the car.
" i'm going for a surf wanna come austin?" i say walking inside the house with austin.
" sure but can we eat i'm starving" he says
i laugh and say " sure"
after we go to the kitchen and eat some food we go get ready for the beach. i put my swimsuit on and grab my wetsuit and run down stairs
" i beat you" austin says smirking at me from the bottom if the stairs.
" what ever" i say rolling my eyes.
i walk into the garage and grab my surf board.
"ready?" i say turning to austin
" yup" he says as he clicks to bottom so the garage will open. we both walk out and start walking down the street to where the beach entrance is.
" oh and by the way" austin says turning to me as we walk into the beach enterance
" i invited the twins." he says smirking at me
" thats fine, ill just show them i'm better then you" i say as i run onto the sand with my board in arm and i see the twins. they wave me over so i walk over to them with austin running to catch up with me.
" looking hot Lyla" Grayson says looking me up and down.
" thanks" i say laughing i put my board on the sand and put my wetsuit on.
" i'm going in now" i say walking to the water.
" same " Grayson says running to the catch up with me.
we both have our boards in arm and as soon as the water touches my foot it reminds me of Australia, the cold salty water and friends all around me splashing each other. i miss it a lot .
" you surf a lot?" Grayson asks as we start to get into the water.
"my life revolves around surfing " i say as i lay on my board and paddle out into the ocean.
" everyone at school was talking about your accent" he says paddling behind me. " i sit up on my board and i look at him.
" bad things?" i ask looking at him
" no no, they were saying how cute it is" Grayson says smiling at me
his smile made me smile, its just so cute, his dimples of his check, he way his eyes sparkle when he smiles, he's just perfect.
" i agree with them" he says paddling past me smirking.
it took a while for what he said to sink in, but as soon as it did i felt myself start to blush. i eventually snapped back into reality and as Ethan and austin came out into the surf we all got a few waves but we mainly just splashed each other and swam around in the water.
as the sun started to set we all paddled back to shore. as we were getting out of the water i felt someone wrap there arm around my waist i looks to the side and saw grayson staring at me right in my eyes, we kept walking up the beach but we were just looking at each other straight in the eye.
" hey guys" i hear a high pitch voice say that from a distance.
" oh hi mal" i say smiling at her
Grayson took his hand of my waist and walked over to mallory.
" oh Lyla i didn't know you surfed?" she says to me
i tuck a piece of wet hair behind my ear.
" i have since i was 2" i say smiling at her
" she's way better then me" austin said putting his arm around my shoulder
" only because i started 4 years before you" i said laughing pushing him away.
" anyways i have to head back home i'll see you around, bye guys" she said waving and walking away.
" she's nice" i said
" and hot" austin said
" your weird i said staring to walk up to the entrance of the beach.
" anyways we are gonna go" Ethan said
" yeah bye guys." Grayson
" bye" i said running up to them and gave them both a hug.
what i noticed this afternoon i that at school they may act as players but i know the real dolan twins and they are the sweetest guys ever.
