chapter 17~

{A/N- we have made it to the last chapter of "player" i really hope you enjoyed it but without further a-do lets get into this last chapter}

i hear a honk come from outside i open the front door and run out to grayson's car. he rolls down the window and says " hey cutie, you look amazing"

i look down at my outfits and smile at him

i put my sunglasses and hold them so i can see hm with my eyes. " thanks boyfriend i say then a get into the back seat. 

" is austin coming?" Ethan says looking back towards me

i put my seatbelt on and say " nah he's walking with his friends

" ew we are stuck with you" Grayson says looking in the mirror back at me

" excuse me" i say with a laugh

" why are you so short grow" ethan says with a laugh

" why is it pick on lyla time" i say laughing 

" because you're short" ethan says with a laugh

" but she's my shawty" grayson says while driving

i smile to myself and get a text from mum saying 

mum- 'hey lyla, just checking in  we will be home tonight' 

i close my phone and look at ethan.

" thats dog"ethan says with a laugh

" what?" i say laughing

" you don't even answer your mums texts that just- wow" ethan says while laughing and shaking his head

" look at this:" i say opening my phone and showing him the amount of texts i haven't answered

" thats just- i don't even know what to say" ethan says as grayson parks in a parking spot

" don't judge me, i only talk with my eyes" i say looking at him

" that's true, she has pretty eyes for a reason" grayson says closing his door and kissing my lips softly

" now, lets go show everyone how happy we are" i say grabbing his hand and we start to walk

"am i like the third wheel" ethan says walking beside me

" nah you're my bestfriend" i say trying to put my other arm over his shoulder but hes to tall

" shortass" ethan says with a fake cough

i look at him and smile " short people are cute" i say 

" i agree" grayson says looking at me

i smile up at him and kiss his lips as we slowly walk through the parking lot. 

i see mallory and she walks over to me and hugs me

" so you two are back together" mallory says smirking at us

" together" i say looking at grayson

i look at Lilith and she looks down at the ground.

" i will be right back" i say leting go of graysons hand and walking over to lilith

" hey lil you alright?" i say putting my hand on her shoulder

she looks up at me and slightly smiles

" yeah, you and grayson look so happy. and i'm happy for you" she says then smiles at me

" well come hang out with us" i say putting my arm around her and we walk over to grayson, ethan mallory and the girls. i hold graysons hand with ethan on graysons side and mallory and Lilith on my side, and the girls walking behind us.

" this is what i like to call squad goals" mallory says looking towards me

" this is the life" i say walking into school 

the bell goes and i look at Grayson and he looks back at me

" i'll see you after school. meet here" i say kissing his lips and walking to class with mallory and Lilith.

" hello bubs" grayson says as i walk up to him " hey gray" i say then kiss his lips.

" lets go to the beach with everyone" grayson says 

" sounds amazing" i says smiling at him

we wait about 2 minutes and everyone is around us and we all start to walk down to the beach

" so lyla hows lyayson " ethan says holding back his laugh

i look at him and say " absolutely amazing" i say looking at grayson

he smiles down at me and i smile up at him.

and there we are, as a happy group all walking to the beach to just chat, laugh and have fun. thats what i like to call happiness. being around the people who you love and appreciate with all your heart. the people that respect you for who you are and what you want to be.
