You cry and beg for the pretty wrapped treats
For the candy seems sweet up on the ledge
They cave; giving you what you wanted
Suddenly they seem tart to your unpleased lips
So you move your sights to a prettier wrapper
And you never realize that it is the wanting
That is more delightful than the having
