Iron Chains

These iron chains hold me

And in this dungeon I’m trapped

Feebly I bang the doors

In the vain attempt

To be rescued

But one should never trust another

Not with their life, anyway

For only when I learn to rise

Learn to stand tall on my own

Only then will I be freed
