Chapter 5: Rick's Day Off

Well after five days at the Morty academy it was time to relax and it just so happened Rick had a day off today so we were going to go do something "fun". Rick suggested we take my friends Alpha and Grease with us. I was hesitant at first.

"Sure why not." I told him. He opened a portal and we went in. We exited the portal and ended up at academy. I walked in and looked for the two. Morticia to Alpha, come in Alpha. I tried to contact him. What Do you want? He responded. You and Grease need to meet me at the front entrance ASAP. I told him. There was no response. I waited for them for at least five minutes. They were approaching me at a fast pace. I flinched thinking they were going to hug me. Alpha, of course did. Greaser had something behind his back and waited for Alpha to stop hugging me. Once he did, Grease handed me a small thing of uh....dead flowers.

"Aww jeez....thanks Grease they're lovely." I lied. He turned away from me and covered his face. It was my idea to give you flowers but we had to keep them in his locker. Alpha said. This isn't your fan fiction so butt out Alpha.

"So guys the reason why I called you here is to ask if you guys wanted to go somewhere with me and my "caretaker" Rick." I said. Alpha agreed to go and Greaser was still turned away from me.

"Sure why not I don't got any plans." He finally spoke. I took them both by the hand took them outside. Rick was drinking from his flask. I did a short introduction.

"Rick, Exo-Alpha and Greaser. Alpha and Grease, Rick." I said quickly.

"So these guys are your only friends? Nice." Rick said putting his flask away. I rolled my eyes. Grease was uncomfortable being around Rick. He just stood behind me because I was farther away from Rick than Alpha was.

"So Rick where we gonna go? Maybe that Blips and Chitz place you are always talking about?" I asked. Rick looked at me, then to the others.

"Blips and Chitz it is then Morticia!" Rick said messing with his portal gun. What's Blips and Chitz, Morticia? Alpha asked me. I told him it was an inter-dimensional arcade where you could play all day. No this isn't a commercial.

"I got something to do real quick. Morticia you're in charge." Rick said as he was going through a portal. Greaser was now clutching my shoulder.

"Grease....were you scared of bring around Rick? you were standing awkwardly close to me." I asked trying to make him let go.

"N-Nah Girly R-Rick's don't scare me!" He lied. I know he's lying. I thought to myself. I looked directly into his eyes for a few moments then he snapped. He told me everything. I was shocked. His past Ricks were awful to him.

"Grease....oh I'm so sorry..." I told him. I gave him a hug, as I did Rick came through the portal.

"Oh D-URP-id I interrupt something?" Rick asked looking kinda concerned and confused. Alpha told Rick to give us a moment. Grease let go of me and told Rick to open a portal to Blips and Chitz. Rick did as he was told. We spent the rest of the day playing all sorts of silly and strange games. Rick really enjoyed his day off.
