After I had literally cried to my mommy about my problems I texted Morpheus telling him I would find my own way to school in the morning and was left on read.

I was acting like a scaredy bitch also the question that keeps popping up in your head.

WHY DON'T YOU JUST TELL HIM ABOUT THE SCARY BITCH!?

Well she didn't just threaten me, she threatened Alexis and Roman if I told him I had a feeling she would hurt them to my two best friends and she didn't sound like she was kidding around.

I laid awake staring at my ceiling that I had painted of the night sky on it calmed me looking over at my alarm clock I still had three minutes so I just laid there playing with my hair.

Kiwi by Harry Styles blared out of my alarm clock and I slammed my hand down on the annoying contraption.

Dragging myself out of bed I shuffled over to the bathroom stripping and stepping into the shower my muscles relaxed and I sighed.

"Amethyst get off your ass!!" My mom screamed from the kitchen and I chuckled.

"I'm already up Ma" I shouted back playfully.

My mom always knew how to put a smile on my face.

I slipped on my underwear and my pre chosen outfit of a black and white  stripped t shirt dress thingy, my white converse and I just threw on two necklaces.

I grabbed my brush and my book bag making sure I had everything for school I went downstairs sitting at the island mom put a bowl of frosted flakes in front of my and a carton of strawberry milk making me smile.

"You're such a child" I poured my milk in my cereal taking a spoon giggling.

Mom got behind me taking the brush gently combing my hair back up into her fist then she took a scrunchies putting it over the hair and securing it before fluffing it up.

Even though I'm sixteen years old going to be seventeen soon I'm a child I act like one around my friends and my mom of course. Every Monday morning it's been tradition since I turned six that she would comb my hair and I never broke out of the habit.

"Love you baby" she kissed my temple and I smiled again.

"Now get out of my house and to school education is the root to success" she took my cereal away from me making me frown.

I got up anyway grabbing my bag sticking out my tongue at her she rolled her shooing me away.

"Love you Ma" I shouted before I closes the door and I heard a go to school making me chuckle.

I put my earphones in humming along to whatever song came on the shuffle stepping over whatever cracks it had in pavement. I live maybe a block away from school it's good exercise.

I felt like someone was watching me but I turned around to see no one there all the cars drove right past me the only car close to me looked to be empty so I shrugged.

Stepping into the school gate I saw Morpheus hanging by his car with his friends from yesterday including  Jesse who was latched to his arm.

I quickly looked away speed walking past the crew and going into school and straight to the cafeteria.

Alexis, Roman, Chad and Rosemary that was my crew, my squad been like friends sine freshman year but I'm closer to Alexis and Roman.

Roman likes to call me his little sister and I'm Alexis' bestie.

"Did you get laid?" Was the first thing Alexis ask me as soon as I sit down and I face palmed.

"No I did not get laid but we did kiss like twice" I told her and she squealed clapping happily and I shook my head.
