AT DAWN

Azure, spreading o'er the endless stretch.
The scarlet, diminishing;
Kissing the horizon; so close.
Oh, the exuberant melancholy.

The gaze shifts,
Into the dark abyss of my existence,
Suffocating sadness; Indecision gnawing;
What would I do. What have I done.

It's dawn outside, but dusk within.
Silence contrasts my mind's din.
In the mirror, a stranger, I see.
Tears stream; I just want to be me.
