Waves

I once stood amongst the endless waves,
Rushing to my feet and breaking into a million fragments,
As they run away forever.

And I, with my naivety, tried to hold onto to the flowing sand in a desperate attempt.

But it's fleeting.

And as they sail away, there's nothing I can do but feel them disappearing.
I reminisce.

But before I know it, there it is.
Yet another wave, crashing onto my bare feet in an infinite cycle of transcient interactions.
