First of all these characters are not mine. All credit goes to Richelle Mead for her wonderful Vampire Academy series. I don't feel like writing something which didn't happen. Thus I want to show to all what might Dimitri have felt when he was turned! This is a missing piece of VA!

"I love you, Roza," I kissed her,"

I'll always be there for you. I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

I looked into her eyes. The pure passion in them. Her ethereal beauty never fails to amaze me even if I see her a thousand times.

She is a force of lightning. A blaze of fire, a spark of joy. She is the emblem of beauty. Without her my world wouldn't exist.

I could feel her melting into me. In a corner of my mind someone said that is wrong. Yet I didn't care. I wanted her.

I gently ruffled her hair and kissed her once more. Warmth exuberated from those dark eyes and I was losing myself in them.

"And I won't let anything happen to you," she promised, "I love you."

That was Rose Hathaway. I met her when she was hiding with Princess Lissa Dragomir in Portland. I had brought her back and mentored her. She was agile and deadly in battle.

I never underestimated her. But the dark effects of spirit were taking their toll on her. She was losing control over her actions. I broke my heart to see her fighting against herself.

She needed support and love. And the first time in forever I had promised myself to her. An invisible bond had formed which no one could break.

Rhonda's words sounded in my mind, "You will lose what you value the most, so treasure it while you can. The wheel is turning, always turning."

I felt that if it was too late I would lose Roza. It was my only chance and finally I had won. Roza was mine. What an unspeakable fulfilment!
