Chapter 23: Young Love

"Guys! Angie is here!" he calls them and walks inside with us behind him .

Louis and Harry run up to me and hug me.

"Where were you Angie?!" Harry cries.

"Answer us in a sec, I'm going to get Zayn and Niall"

At the mention of Niall I turn to Alondra and her eyes get brighter and Her smile is bigger .

We sit in the couch , Liam and Harry sitting in front of us , Waiting for Zayn and Niall .

"Angie! where have you been?! we've been worried sick!" Niall brings me into a hug then Zayn does .

Niall glances at Alondra but doesn't say anything to her .

"Well after what happened ... I ran until I found a park; Alondra was there and I asked her if I could spend the night at her house-"

"We want to know why you ran away" Harry cuts me off .

I turn to look at the girls and they nodded their heads in encouragement .

"Because ... I didn't want to be a pain in the ass for you guys ... I didn't want you to stress about me anymore . I didn't want you to get headaches or anything. I want you to be happy with me ..." I choke "But you can't because I have a story , a horrible , tragic story" I grimace at the last part .

"If I wasn't this fucked up then you guys could actually be happy with me and not think about returning me back to the orphanage ."

"Angie ... we would NEVER return you there , if you think it was a mistake for us to adopt you well your wrong . I'm so glad we did ," Zayn kneels in front of me and wipes a tear of my face . " You mean the world to me , I don't care about your past I care about right now , I care if your happy now ."

"Baby please don't cry . you know we would never return you to that place , we love you so much and you have completely changed our life's; You made us happier." Niall says.

"Don't ever run away again ," Louis chokes " I was so scared I would loose you , I don't want you to leave . you might be a handful sometimes but I still love you and I still want you here ."

"See , we told you they cared . I knew they didn't want you to leave . they care about you and love you so much . This probably hurt them a lot ." Alondra says .

which makes me cry even more .

"Don't cry love , don't worry ." Niall coos

"I'm sorry ... see all I cause is pain , stress , and worry" I cry " why am I this missed up?"

"You aren't Angie , you're the most beautiful , strongest , bravest girl I've ever met" Ahtziri puts her arm around me .

"We all love you and care about you " Leslie smiles at me .

maybe I was wrong about people not caring at me ...

I have friends and family that care about me and I'm so grateful .

I feel so lucky .

- 20 minutes later -

The lads have been trying to cheer me up for the last 20 minutes .

"Angie! come on! let's go play soccer or something." Louis pulls my arm .

I shake my head. I feel bad for all this .
