Giving

She keeps giving pieces of herself until theres nothing left

And when she stops, people accuse her of being selfish

But who will be there to pick her up

When everyone leaves the moment she wipes off her makeup

That smile she paints on fades

You see her tear streaked face

And you leave

But she doesn't blame you for running

It's human nature to desire only the stunning

That's why she kept giving

She never wanted you to experience people leaving

If she could paint your night sky with colours she would

So you never have to live in the darkness she long stood

But that's the problem with people who keep giving

They live in the darkness, always longing for something

For someone to save them,

Just like they have been doing
