{Delania POV}

"Yay! Hogwarts!" George celebrated. But even Snape could see he wasn't celebrating school, but the feast he'd get before the school. Druella looked comfy over by Rosianna so Delania wasn't worried about having trouble with her fitting in.

"Oh crikey, here we go..." Fred sat up straighter than usual as Dumbledore took to his pedestal. "I would like to welcome our new DATDA teacher, Dolores Umbridge." A woman, all dressed in pink stood up. She smiled and we all smiled back but they were kind of 'I wish I'd said goodbye to my loved ones before I'd left' kind of smiles. "We're gonna have to think of a real brainy nickname for this one..." Fred whispered. "Toady?"

"No, that one will be used way too much." I replied. "What about... the Frilly Pink?"

Fred let an impressed smile take over his face. "Love it." He grasped my hand and squeezed it before we both turned our attention back to 'Frilly Pink'.

She started to talk and her voice was as high pitched as that egg Harry had decided to open last year after the first task. It was worse, in fact it was that bad I had to cover my ears. George obviously caught on and started to cower over in pain, causing me, Fred and Angie to laugh. McGonagall gave us all a warning look but we kept laughing among us. Hat made me think, even though Frilly Pink was about to terrorise the school, I had my friends. And Fred.

{Narrator POV}

"Miss Black?" Umbridge called as Rosi and Druella laughed at the sight of their friends head smacked firmly on the desk. DADA with Ravenclaw was tiring. "Miss Black!"

"What? Who's there?!"

"Miss Black? Are you prepared to pay attention in this class or are you just going to fail?" Frilly Pink asked, Delania scoffed.

"With all due respect, Miss. These ridiculous textbooks won't help us." She replied.

"Well, I would love to know why you think so." Umbridge let Delania stand. "But, Miss Black. Please remember who your father is."

All Delania needed was them words to set her off. "There are real threats out there and there's no use in pretending there isn't. I want to know where Dumbledore comes in all this? Does no one realise the school is now full of textbooks and we can't really hit a dementor over the head with a book and get away with it. We need real spells. Proper lessons-"

"Alright, Miss Black that's quite enough."

"Is it? Cause you're not teaching us anything!"

"DETENTION!" Umbridge shouted, before clearing her throat. "Tonight in my office, Miss Black."

Delania sat back down with a thud and Rosi placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm sure detention won't be that bad."

Delania hadn't bothered telling Fred and George when she was leaving to detention, they knew she was going, they'd actually congratulated her for it. She'd rolled her eyes and left to eat her heart out in the great hall before walking to her doom. Delania didn't know why she was scared, she was terrified. She approached the DATDA office door and knocked, the high pitched voice welcomed her and she entered.

Pink. Seriously?

Delania was going to be sick. All over the pink walls, all over the pink carpet and most importantly the daunting pictures of cats on plates. Who puts cats on plates!? A further look into the room allowed her eyes to adjust on that one person Delania really didn't want to see at all.

"Harry."

The name she'd once been delighted to say now turned sour in her mouth, and his name rolling off her tongue made her think of her dad. The dad that he'd stolen. Frilly Pink saw the tension between them and laughed quietly, making them both glare at her.

"Come come, Miss Black." Umbridge pulled out a chair from a desk next to Harry and attempted to hand out a quill. "You will be writing lines."

"Great." Delania said as she got her own quill out. "I'd rather use my own though Miss."

"No, you'll use mine. It's a special one. And you won't need ink." Frilly Pink let a poisoned look onto her face too late for Delania to see. "Mr Potter, I want you to write; I must not tell lies. And Miss Black, I want you to write; criminals never change."

The girls head shot up, questioning mentally if Umbridge meant it or not.

"We'll chop chop then. Do it until it's sunk in..."

Delania started to write with her 'special' quill. She managed to get down several lines of the toxic sentence before a burning sensation started in her hand. She cowered in pain and glanced at where the stabbing feeling was coming from. Her hand started to carve itself. Lines appeared, blood started to leak out and without thinking she looked at Harry. His was the same. They both looked at each other in complete horror.

"Are you finished?" Frilly Pink piped up with a little smile on her face. Delania was out of that room in no time. She ran down the corridors silently crying, partly because of the pain and the blood dripping off her hand. But mainly because of what it said. Engraved in her hand were the words; criminals never change.

Criminals gesturing to her father, and for that reason, Delania was livid. She was livid with hatred and a passion to get rid of this teacher once and for all. Soon, Delania decided it was too far to run to the Gryffindor Common Room and so took a seat on a nearby bench. She looked around but the only thing she could focus on were the words now written in her hand. She was scarred.
