{Narrator POV}
Delania now had a small tiny bump and every morning when she woke up she saw it and smiled, placed her hand on it and kept it there before walking downstairs. But today was the day Delania would tell Remus and her mum she was pregnant, and she was physically shaking. She would pick Fred up on her way there and they would go together, George was going to see Druella at the hospital. Her sister was in a valid state but still critical, no one could do anything about it and they all had to play a gruelling waiting game.
Walking down to the shop, Diagon Alley looked deserted and sad. Without what remained of the children's laughter it just became as daunting as the Malfoy's Dungeon. The bell above the door rang as Delania pushed the door open and went inside, she was glad to see there was still a generous amount of people in the shop, Fred was talking to them with the same old jolly expression on his face. He caught sight of her and quickly finished off, making his way over to her.
"M'lady." Fred bowed but she urged him to stand up as quick as she could, some people were leaving with bags thank Merlin, that meant they'd bought something. "I'll just go lock upstairs and then we can go, yeah?" Delania nodded in agreement.
Moments later he returned and together they apparated to the Lupins house. It was in the countryside and looked like the burrow except it was made of brick and looked a lot more sturdy. Looking through the window Delania could see her mum was already there and they were spotted outside. She wasn't going to tell them about her pregnancy until they'd finished dinner and so she'd put if a baggy shirt and jeans.
"Delania, Fred." Tonks opened the door revealing her bigger bump, and by bigger it means she was six months pregnant already. "Come in!"
"Hi mum, hi Remus." Delania went over to hug her carer first much to her mum's dismay, every time Remus looked at the girl it was hard for him because all he saw was his best friend.
"How've you been, sweetheart?" Remus asked her as he pulled out a chair for her to sit on. "I've been well, thanks." They talked and talked and Fred was now a lot calmer around Roxanne as he had been to begin with, he was always scared she'd turn a blind eye on all the people she loved and turn back to Voldemort.
"So mum, I went to visit Druella in the hospital and she's doing great." Delania told her mum, the grown woman turned around to face her daughter with a look of shock covering every inch of her expression.
"She's in hospital?" Roxanne questioned.
Delania and Fred exchanged glances. "You didn't know..." Fred asked her. Roxanne shook her head and turned to Remus who consoled his old friend as tears slowly began to roll down her face. Delania got up to go to the toilet seeing what she'd done and feeling bad, Tonks followed, she knew something was wrong.
Delania was found by Fred and Tonks pacing the length of their living room. "Delania, your mum overreacted we all know that." Tonks placed a hand on the poor girls shoulder.
"I thought she'd know, it has been two weeks." Delania told the young woman who nodded in response.
"Nia, why don't you tell me why you and Fred are really here." Tonks said. Fred purses his lips together and smiled, walking over to place an arm round his fiancés waist.
"Me and Delania have had to delay the wedding." He said. Tonks was smiling already. "Because... we're having a baby." Fred had hardly finished before Tonks pounced on them both, almost strangling them.
"Our babies can be best friends!" She whispered excitedly, Tonks was younger than Remus by at least ten years and although most of the time she was mature, sometimes her childish side still shone through. Delania was soon smiling again and so the three of them walked back into the kitchen.
Roxanne was still drying her eyes and Fred mentally had to roll his, he thought she was being pathetic. "Delania." She simply stared her daughters name as a greeting.
"Sorry mum, I thought you knew." Delania said, leaning against Fred.
"Well I know now." Roxanne said. "We heard some celebrating going on through there, what was that about?" The woman has suddenly changed her tune and she was making Fred more and more suspicious of her.
"Nothing, well..." Delania smiled up at Fred as he smiled back. Tonks has joined her husband and was now almost out of breath from smiling so much. "I'm having a baby- well, me and Fred are."
Roxanne only smiled as she congratulated her daughter but Remus was not happy. It was like history almost repeating itself, Roxanne had fallen pregnant at age eighteen and two years after the girls were born everything and turned to shit. The happy couple had told their friends and family in the exact same way. He was worried about what was coming.
"Remus?" Delania walked up to him.
"Delania, I'm so disappointed." Remus said, Fred looked over at them, shocked to hear those words coming from his mouth. "You've thrown the rest of your life away, these are supposed to be the happiest years of your life!"
Delania wasn't having any of his crap. "Well look at Rosie and Nathan, they're doing fine!"
"But you're not Rosie and Nathan!"
"What? Listen I looked after a werewolf for sixteen years of my life!" She pointed her finger at him and his face fell soft. "What makes you think I can't handle a baby when I had to look after a thirty year old man." Delania turned round and let out a deep breath. "Can we go?"
Fred nodded. He was glad to be out of the house anyway, there was something truly odd going on.
