MORE THAN FRIENDS (BoyxBoy)

The Epic Weekend.

It was a crisp Friday morning, The Matthews were outside waiting for The Price's to arrive.

Then a huge black trailer made its way towards the house, the sound of the horn could wake the entire neighborhood up.

"Let's go kiddos," Mr. Matthews said.

Carter had a very pleased look on his face, then he saw Perry

"Hey BRO" Carter yelled.

Perry slammed his bag into Carter's chest.

Then pulled him close "Don't for a second act like you want to be here, The last thing i want to do is be around your self-absorbed ." Perry said.

Carter smiled " I Love you too" 

"Fuck you asshole," Perry shouted.

This was going to be one hell of a weekend.

"Well, family lets get ready for dinner." 

Perry walked through the cabin and all of the fond memories 

"Remember the time we had the float out on the river, i jumped and you bounced off and fell in the river," Carter said.

"Yeah, how could i ever forget," Perry said.

"Of course Carter to the rescue!" Carter said.

Perry turned around "Yeah i remember almost drowning, but you knew i couldn't swim so much for hero Carter," Perry said.

"Ouch!" Carter said.

"Just stay away from me, please," Perry said.

"Can't disappoint our family, they are like best friends knowing their sons don't even want to be in the same room would break hearts and even make things weird," Carter said.

"So fucking be it then," Perry said.

Perry started down the steps Carter caught up to him and pinned him against the wall

"Just relax won't you, and just fucking pretend, or else," Carter said.

"Carter you're hurting my arm, i will yell in a second," Perry said.

Carter softened his grip 

"I don't even know who this person in front of me is, the Carter i knew would never put his hands on me."

Perry went into his room and slammed the door shut and locked it.

"FUCK, Perry i am sorry," Carter said.

"Everything ok?" Paula asked.

"Oh, yeah Mrs. Matthew, Perry won't be joining us for dinner he doesn't feel well, i made sure he was good." Carter lied.

"Awe good thank you, honey, you deserve the best friend for a lifetime award," she said.

"Oh, stop it, Mrs. Matthews," Carter said.

"No serious, he admitted in counseling that if it wasn't for you, he probably would have  committed suicide by now, all the bullying and such for him being gay... i don't think my heart could take losing another son, thank you, Carter." Mrs. Matthews said.

She kissed Carter on the cheek and went down the stairs, Carter stopped and dropped to the ground and placed his head in his hand because he felt like an ass hole and a horrible friend for abandoning him.

Perry began to wake up and the first person he saw was Carter and he almost jumped out of his skin.

"What are you doing in here?" 

"Come on you know you cannot avoid me all weekend, remember we use to run the trail every first thing in the morning, let's do it," Carter said.

Perry shrugged and thought why not.

The walk starts out quiet, but like typical Carter Fashion he rips his shirt off and starts the run.

"See you at the finish line pretty boy," Carter yelled.

Perry smiled and started to run after Carter .... after about 10 minutes Carter was so busy looking back he almost forgot about the abrupt ending to the trail...

"SHIT" 

He almost lost his balance but suddenly he felt two skinny arms wrap around his midsection and almost like a wrestling move, they both dropped backward.

"Thanks, i think?" Carter said with confusion

"You're stronger than me, i had to do something quickly," Perry said.

Perry helped Carter up and he started to stretch, Perry found himself looking at the perfection that made Carter Price who he was, his perfectly tanned skin, his blondish brown hair and how the sun made his green eyes flicker

"Perry, why didn't you tell me you tried to commit suicide?" Carter asked.

Perry dropped his head "We are supposed to be best friends and you know you could have told me how you were feeling." Carter said.

... "At the point of when it really does really matter, that night of the party you made me feel so low about myself and all i did was ask you a simple question, every bit of confidence i had was lost that night i ran until i couldn't run anymore and thought maybe life would be better without me, i didn't know how i was going to move on without you... i had Quinn, yes, but Carter our bond was different and you basically dropped me for Gina, which i understand because that is your girlfriend and i-"

Carter cut Perry off and lifted his chin and kissed him "It was the kiss, that changed everything between us and how i felt about you, don't you remember you told me you felt nothing, but i did and knowing you felt differently shattered my heart because in all honesty your all i ever wanted, your my best friend first and that will never change, but Perry Scott Matthews i love you." Carter said.

Perry stepped back and he really couldn't find the words to say, so he just ran...

"PERRY WAIT!" Carter yelled.
