Mom Knows Best.

For the first time in a long time, Perry just wanted to spend the Saturday in with his mom and seek some advice from her.

She came into the den with two cups of hot chocolate with one big marshmallow in the middle.

"My son dating a pop star, this is unreal," she said.

"Imagine how i feel," Perry said.

"but there is someone else?" she asked.

Perry looked up and she smiled and placed her hand on his back.

"You are in love with Carter, i know and if you both feel the same way then you need to tell each other."

"We have and he has Gina, and plus his parents who know how they would react.

"Trust me when i say his parents know and they love him and you regardless of how you both choose to go about the situation, we love Carter and would embrace him as a son in law." mom laughed.

"Mom!, wow this makes things alot easier," Perry said.

"Perry follow your heart and make the right choice, but also remember you are young you have all of college and even more to experience love, i want you to remember that." his mom said.

We turned our favorite movie on, Mean Girls but most of it was spent reciting the words.

I know alot of teenagers who are gay do not have the support of their families and it makes me fortunate to know that mines love me exactly the way i am.
