Oh my sweet god.

Two hours! Two freaking hours!

Are they really that dumb? I thought to myself as I heard their unremarkable conversation.

They must think i'm dead right now or else they are really that stupid, I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Sir, I don't understand" Didrick mumbled and several other men tuned in. "She should be dead right now or at least showed herself at the surface some time" He continued and the leader audible sighed. "Or your stupid asses just lost her right!? Maybe she's out of the territory? Then we may not know why she was here at the first place you dicks! And if she was here for a fatal reason, she must come back to finish her job right? But she's alone so that shouldn't work because well.." He laughed lightly. "We are pretty strong if I say so myself and King Ramanov would kill her in a heartbeat"

King Romanov?

Who are these people?

I must get away, and that soon I thought as my fins started to disappear.

I have been to long in this form that's why i'm changing back, with or without my permission.

I'm totally screwed rambled inside of my head over and over again when my naked human body appeared and I held my breath.

I strained my hearing to hear exactly where they were settled and I was mostly surprised when I didn't hear anything. The only thing I'd heard was the rustling in the wind and some birds chirping from far away.

Wait.

A smirk appeared on my face when I heard their faint breaths and feet crushing some dead leaves when they obviously walked away.

Well, I guess this is my lucky day I grinned and started to swim up to the surface when my lungs started to constrict.

My head broke the surface and I drew in some very, very deep breaths. My black hair hung heavily on my back and I sighed lowly when I realized that I needed to waste my time to steal some new clothes as my old clothes got ripped apart during my shift.

But what I didn't see coming was the arrow that shot right trough my stomach and the darkness that came right after.
