My head pounded dramatically and I slowly opened up my heavy eyelids and a annoying bright light instantly burned my sensitive eyes and I audible groaned. "Ah! You're awake!" A woman's voice reached my ears and my head snapped so fast to the right that I nearly gave myself a whiplash.
My eyes connected with a pair of bright, yellow ones and my eyebrows furrowed deeply. "No i'm obviously sleeping" I snapped when all of my memories flooded around in my aching head.
"No need for the attitude young lady" She murmured and walked to stand by my bedside. "How are you feeling?" She asked and helped me to sit up straighter. "Oh you know, I did not just get an arrow shot right trough me but besides that i'm all good!" I snapped again and I could almost feel my heart pound harshly against my rib cage and I had to close my eyes for a briefly moment, I didn't dare to show this woman my eye color change to a pulsing lilac.
They always change color when my emotions gets too much.
"It was just a safety mechanism miss" She mumbles and pulls my shirt up-
Wait!
Shirt? And- And pants to! Who the fuck dared to even touch my naked body!?
To get that question answered, I put on my sweetest of smiles. "Doc, who changed me?" I widen my baby blue eyes and give her one of my greatest puppy dog eyes. "Uh I did miss, b-but sir Nicholas arrived with you- yesterday evening" She swallowed harshly. "But no worries, he didn't do anything- that I can promise you!" She smiled and continued to pull up my black t-shirt. I sighed and nodded my head, but if I even get my hands on him I will lecture him up for 1. Shooting me with an fucking arrow and 2. For even touching my naked body without my fucking permission!
"I'm just going to take of this bandage and see if the wound is healing the right way okay?" She said and put her hand on the bandage but I quickly stopped her. "No! I mean uh no i'm alright!" I screamed hastily and she quickly moved her hand away. They can't see that the wound is probably already healed, they can't know what I am.
They can't now that i'm the only one left of my species, they can't know.
