Clatter.
"Heard that?" Rivel asked. "How much effort does it take to shut up? I will rip your throats out you pieces of-"
"I get it. I have a good idea who that was," Lyra said. "Most likely."
"Oh?"
"How much do you think she heard?"
"She?"

I picked up the knife and bolted out of there. I reached the entrance I went through and gasped for air. Everyone was staring at me, as if I murdered someone; right the knife. I dropped the knife and kicked it away. It slid under the shack. Now that the knife was gone, the blood wasn't. I shoved my hand into my pocket and pretended I was taking a stroll casually.
3 people at the scene. 1 sliced the victims throat. Victim died immediately. Vauge muttering about the eletrical plant. No, that's not good enough. Why even bother filing a report, if the report gets deleted immediately? Reminds me of a terribly gaming customer service help. Most likely those were Reapers. It's unheard of them killing one of their own members, however they have been going on a kill spree recently. They were mad. Real mad. The Reapers rule us, and the government rules the Reapers. Who rules the government?
It's only best to stay quiet. They don't hurt you for no reason, unless they tell you to do something for no reason. The two big reasons why you shouldn't mess with them are, they will literally beat you to death with anything they have- a pebble. Secondly their group has over 100 members, but it has seemed to stop around the 100 mark. I should just carry a brick around at all times for safety precautions.
A certain someone caught my eye. He stood out from the crowd. Not too tall, not too short either. Short black hair. As if on cue our eyes locked. Intimidating dark cold eyes under the dim light. The atmosphere grew dark and constricting. He had no emotion on his face, other than his arched eyebrows; he looked annoyed, not very pleased of my presents. His stare, or should I say glare was pure venom and malice. I stood there, eyes widen even though I've never seen him before. It was really hard to break the eye contact due to this mysterious 'pull'.
He seemed bored trying to intimidate me, and merged into the crowd. I stood there frozen and dumbfounded. Maybe he knows. Maybe he was one of the 3.
I was bandaging someone's arm the next day. A tired look on my face. Everything was on autopilot except my thoughts. Veneera was trying to tell me about some boy she saw. Fangirling. I replied with 'yeah' and 'okay' not bothering to listen to half of the conversation.
"Xandra are you even listening?" Veneera complained.
"Hm? Yeah."
She threw a roll of bandages at me, it smacked me on the back of my head.
"Huh? Why are are you wasting bandages?" I snapped back into reality.
"You weren't paying attention to the conversation," Veneera muttered. "What's wrong? You're dazing out more than usual."
"It's nothing. Just tired, "I lied.
"Hmm... Okay then. You know it's not good to keep your problems bottled up. It could be like a soda bottle, it builds up then... Pop!" She exclaimed.
I though I was going to explode very soon anyways. Stabbing me with a pin. "Thanks for the advice," I said.
She checks her watch. "Shift's over. Bye Xee, see ya around," She gave a goofy salute and skipped off. Veneera always did a salute at the end of her shift, it never gets old I laughed. But it ends abruptly, dying in the silence.
