Evie stood outside the home with her packed clothes and Sister Abigail. Brendon came outside too. Evie waved goodbye to Sister Abigail and she waved back.

"Shall we do this Evie?" He said kindly to her. He held her warm hands with the suitcase in the other hand and drove off in Brendon's car. This was the last time Evie would go on the horrible place again.

"I've always wanted a child. I've never had a girlfriend, so i've never had a chance to have one." He said to Evie, while driving his car.

"I've never had any proper parents ever, well I have, but they died when I was a baby." Evie said sadly.

"Oh well. You've got me and I've got you so we're fine right?" Brendon asked with a kind tone.

"Yeah." Evie answered dreamily "We've got each other."

Evie and Brendon drove up a drive way to a mansion. It looked brand new. But Brendon said it had been here for ages.

Brendon opened the door into the house and it looked beautiful. It was nice and tidy and quiet. But the only difference was there was a different wooden door with so many locks on it.

"What's in there Brendon?" Evie asked suspiciously pointing at the door.

"Nothing. Private stuff. Does it matter? I don't want you going in or near there. Do you understand?!" Brendon's voice changed into anger. Evie felt she shouldn't've asked that question.

"Well? Answer me!" he made Evie jump.
"Yes Brendon." Evie answered nervously.
"Good. Now, what would you like for tea?"
