"You'll never take us alive!!!"I shouted as me and Aaron ran from the blaring sirens that erupted from the cop cars that are currently chasing us. It wasn't even that bad of a crime. All we did was steal a couple hundred dollars from that bank. Aaron and I jump into the car and speed off. I see the red and blue lights flash through the rear view mirror.
"You OK babe?" Aaron asks me suddenly. I look at him. "Yeah I'm fine. " I smiled as he drove into a hidden tunnel. The cops drive right past us and we drive home.
Once in the safety of our apartment, we counted the money we had stolen. "2500" Aaron says with a smile. "About the most we've ever gotten" he put the money back in the bag and carried it to the other bags of money from other places we've robbed in the past week. I sighed. "I feel bad about robbing all these places. " he looked at me and hugged me.
"I do too, but it's our only means of survival. Nobody will hire us. " he reminded. "I know... I just wish there wasn't so much discrimination against werewolves." I sighed. "so do I. " he picked me up and carried me to bed. "let's go to sleep. You seem tired. " he says as I yawned. "sounds good. " I close my eyes. And together we drift off to sleep.
The next morning starts with the sound of the door unlocking from the outside. I quickly got up and hid in the bathroom, only to find that it was Aaron with our food for the week. "you scurred me" I panted, walking out of the bathroom.
"Sorry. But I brought you pancakes. " he smiled. "from where?" I rose a brow.
"IHOP"
In a spilt second, I was eating the pancakes like I haven't had a meal my whole life.
"wow. You were really hungry. " he chuckles. "you bring me IHOP and expect me not to be hungry?"
"no. That's why I got a lot." he smiled as I finished the pancakes. I patted my belly. "Dos were some good pancakes." I say.
"glad you like them. " he smiles. I crawl back into bed. "still tired?" he asks. "I need to sleep. We do all the rob stuff in the night, so I need to sleep during the day. " I get comfortable. I feel the bed shift as Aaron joins me in bed. "Hey Aph?" he holds my hand. "Yes Aaron?" I close my eyes. "I love you. " he holds me close. I smile. "I love you too. "
