Garroth pov
"So, let me get this straight." The purple haired girl standing before me said. After me and the guys apprehended the two werewolves, Vylad told me to bring them to Ryu, the girl I was talking to. Back when I was a cop, I came to her with every werewolf I had. She acts as a sort of probation officer for werewolves. If she can make them do enough good things within a period of time, then the werewolves won't get arrested.
"So, you come to my apartment at 3 am with two werewolves and tell me 'I need you to help these two' even though that's no longer your job. And on top of that, I'm dealing with a guy and his pregnant fiancée?" Ryu asked me with an annoyed expression. She was in her pajamas, so I could only assume she was sleeping before I came over.
"Listen, I know you get cranky when you don't get your 12 hours of sleep." This causes her to growl at me. "But these two need help. Like you said, they're engaged. This means if they get arrested then they can't get married. And this one." I point to the girl werewolf, who tries to bite my finger. "Is pregnant. If she's in Jail when she has the baby, then they'll take the baby away." I say, trying to persuade Ryu.
Ryu sighs. "Come inside. All of you." She steps aside and we all walk in. " you can set the two captives on the couch." She tells us. I scold Travis as he forcefully pushes the girl werewolf onto the couch. Her fiancé growls at Travis. "Be careful with her!" He said quite angrily as he bared his fangs. "My Irene, why are you two so hostile?" Travis asks.
"Maybe it's because you guys brought them here in handcuffs?" Ryu asks from the kitchen. "Or maybe it's because you pushed the guy's pregnant fiancé onto the couch like she was a piece of Trash." Ryu says to Travis with a raised brow. "Oh yeah that might be a good reason..." Travis said.
Ryu came back with some heated up pepperoni pizza and gave everyone a slice. She took the keys to the handcuffs from my pocket and Unlocked the werewolves. She handed them slices and they stare at her confused.
"Hey." She says with a smile as she sits one the floor in front of them. "What are your guys's names?" The two werewolves turn their heads.
"Aaron..."
"Aphmau..."
My eyes widen in amazement. She actually got them to not growl for once. AND tell us their names. Every time Travis asked on the way here, they tried to bite him.
"Aphmau, Aaron, nice to meet you. My name is Ryu. I'm going to be spending a lot of time with you guys, if that's alright with you."She gave them a smile. Their shoulders slumped a bit, and they seemed calmed down. "Are either of you hungry?" They both look at her hopefully. "Garroth, we're going to need a couple pizzas. Think you can hook us up?" Ryu asked.
"Oh! So just because I work at a pizza hut, I'm automatically good for getting pizza at any point in the day?!" I say, practically yelling. Ryu looks at the floor and nods. "Yeah. Pretty much. So can you and Vylad hook us up. You can just charge Zen Ramen for it. I know, he pays for my pizzas, I buy him pony stuff and cupcakes." She explains.
I sigh. "I'll call Vylad and we can make some more pizzas. It might take a while, though. How many?" I ask, and she looks at Aphmau and Aaron. "How many pizzas can you two actually eat?"
The two looked at each other. "Um..." Aaron said. "Usually the two of us can eat about 30 pizzas." Aphmau finished. Ryu began doing calculations. "So, that's 60 for the werewolves, because Aph is pregnant , and then there's the rest of us and... Oh, Zane. I'm so sorry." She laughs at the end.
