As the days went on and the Wonderlanders got used to being at Hogwarts Professor Snape started acting differently and it confused everyone. No one could figure out what was going on and Cheshire had been even more evil than normal.

The school year starts in less than a week and the professors worked so very hard to make sure everything was prepared for the students that would be coming that year.

That day the wonderlanders had been sitting by the black lake and talking about what the year would be like.

"I wonder what people will think of us." Cheshire said from her spot in the tree everyone was sitting around.

"Who knows. As long as I can keep my pipe I will be fine." Caterpillar said.

"Oh Cater. We should probably start calling each other the names Albus gave us." Alice said as she played with Rabbits hair.

"I loathe my name though. Who names their child Matilda?" Mouse asked from her place next to the Hare.

"Someone who hates their child." The White Rabbit spoke from where he lay in Alice's lap.

"Oh hush." Mouse said while throwing a handful of grass at him.

"Squirrel!"  March Hare shouted while pointing at something behind Cheshire.

The cat turned around and saw a squirrel staring at her.

"What are you looking at?" She asked while glaring at the small creature.

The squirrel threw an acorn which Cheshire dodged and it ended up hitting the Hatter in the face.

"Thanks for that Ches." He said while rubbing his head.

"No problem." Cheshire said while vanishing and reappearing on Ned's head.

Ned didn't do anything and Fred rubbed Cheshire's head.

"Jane."  Bayard said while giving her a look as he saw some people heading towards them.

Cheshire rolled her eyes and changed back to looking human and climbing back into the tree.

When the people reached the wonderlanders they could be seen as Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, and Severus Snape.

"Hello children." He spoke as he noticed Cheshire in the tree.

"Hello Professor." The White Queen said while turning her attention to him.

Dumbledore nodded at her and continued speaking.

"The other children will be arriving tonight and I would hope that you would all sit at you assigned table." He told the group.

The wonderlanders looked solemn that they could not all be together but nodded nonetheless.

"Miss. Jane I believe you're in Slytherin." Dumbledore then said.

"Yes that is true." Cheshire said while cringing at the name she had to be called.

" Please do behave yourself." He told her.

It was then the group of creatures started to laugh.

"And what is so funny?" Snape asked while glaring at everyone but Cheshire who had only rolled her eyes.

"You want Cheshire..." Ned started while still laughing.

"... To behave." Fred continued while also laughing.

The three teachers all nodded and the group started laughing harder.

"Oh hush children. It's not like I have mischief in my eyes." Cheshire sad as she rolled out of the tree and vanished.

"I would appreciate if you called her Jane as that is what she is supposed to be called and yes she must behave. All of you must. Now where did Miss. Jane go?" Dumbledore asked.

"Why must we be someone we are not professor? Oh and I'm on top of Snape's head. Quite surprised he hasn't shooed me off yet." Cheshire said causing everyone to look at Professor Snape.

Snape cleared his throat and Cheshire just let her grin grow wider as she vanished once again.

Cheshire then appeared next to the Mad Hatter and smiled.

"We will not change for your rules but you will change for ours. After all... we are the guests." She said.

It was in that moment Caterpillar blew a large amount of smoke around the group of Wonderlanders and Cheshire transported them back to the school.

"Well that was fun." McGonagall said as she headed back to the castle.

"Yes..." Snape drawled on. "...fun." And made his way too, back to the castle.
