The Third Task

Aria
It's been weeks since the second task, and I'm really worried about Harry. Hagrid told us that the third task is a maze. "People change," he said. I don't want Harry to change! It's the day of the third task, and the champions will have some time with family and friends. I guess it's just with Ron, Hermione, and I. When the time came then, we met with Harry where everyone was meeting. I hugged Harry tightly first, and he hugged me back. He then hugged Ron and Hermione, and Hermione said "we'll leave you two alone now." They walked away, and I turned to Harry. "I'm scared for you," I said. "What if you don't come out alive?" He held my hand and said "don't think about that." I felt a tear slide down my face, and he wiped it. "I promise that I will come out alive, ok?" I sighed, but nodded. Harry pulled me close and said "I love you so much." He put his hands on my waist, and then leaned in. Before our lips met, I answered "I love you too." Then, our lips touched, and Harry kissed me gently. We stayed like that for a moment, and then we pulled away. I ran my hand through his hair and said "good luck, Harry." He smiled and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged him back, and we stayed like that until he had to leave. Before he left, he gave me one quick kiss on the cheek, and then walked away. I smiled and touched my cheek before going to sit down. Dumbledore started saying "welcome to our third task! This is the final task of the tournament, and the winner will win the Triwizard cup that is placed in the center of the maze. Since Cedric is in the lead, he will go first." I clapped because he's from Hogwarts and I obviously support Hogwarts. Ron and Hermione clapped too. He then said "then Cedric will be followed by Harry Potter." I stood up and screamed. Harry smiled when he saw me, and I clapped. He mouthed I love you. I mouthed it back, and then sat down. Dumbledore said "Harry will be followed by Viktor, and then Fleur." There were cheers for both of them, and then they entered the maze. When Harry went in, a nervous chill took over my body. Everyone was in the maze now, and I was waiting anxiously. Hermione saw that I was on edge and said "don't worry, Aria. He'll be fine. Harry's strong." Ron joined in and said "he's only going to fight harder because he won't want to hurt you." I nodded, and then everyone there sat in silence. I wonder what's happening in there!

Harry
I'm in the maze now. This is kind of scary... ok maybe it's really scary! While I turned a corner, I heard someone else, so I hid in the wall, which was a bush. It was Viktor, but his eyes looked different. Once he walked away, I came out, and kept walking. I heard someone scream, so I ran towards it. I found Fleur being pulled under the bush by something, and then cast a red spark. They told us to cast a red spark if we were in danger. After, I continued walking and found Cedric being almost taken by the same plant, and I had a moment where I thought help him, but at the same time, don't. I decided to help him, and he thanked me after. "For a moment I thought you were going to leave me there," he said. "I thought so too," I answered.

Aria
It's been too long! When is Harry coming out? Is he ok? Agh! Hermione saw my anxiety and said "don't worry. He's fine." I turned to her, and asked "what if he's not?" She hugged me, and Ron patted my back. I want Harry back!

Harry
Cedric and I found the cup! The maze is blowing harsh wind, and he said "I'm not taking it! You take it!" I shook my head and said "you take it!" Cedric said "you saved me! Take it!" I then said "both of us! On three! 1,2,3!" We held on and were teleported to a graveyard. My scar started hurting, so I said "Cedric, get back to the cup." He stood there, and my scar hurt even more. "Eat back to the cup! Agh!" Pettigrew came out holding something, and there was a high pitched voice that said "kill the spare!" "Avada Kedavra!" There was a green light, and Cedric died. I tried running to him, but Pettigrew flicked his wand, which brought me to a statue. The staff trapped me there, and my neck hurt from it. He threw whatever he was holding into a cauldron, and then grabbed a bone. "Bone of the father. Unwillingly given." He dropped it in the cauldron, and then said "blood of the servant. Willingly given." He cut his arm, and let a drop of his blood fall into the cauldron. "Blood of the enemy, unwillingly sacrificed." He approached me, and cut my sleeve. I tried to move my arm, but I couldn't. I felt the knife cut into my arm, and I screamed. He walked over to the cauldron and dropped my blood in there. My scar started hurting even more, and I was practically blind. I heard Voldemort's voice say "such a handsome boy." He was about to touch him, but I blurted "don't touch him!" He turned to me, and said "Harry, it's been a while." My scar hurt so much I couldn't focus on what he said. Death eaters came, and Voldemort talked to them. He then wanted to duel with me, so the staff dropped me. I tried getting up, but he shouted "crucio!" I felt a shocking pain shoot through me, and I wiggled and shouted. After what seemed like minutes, he stopped. He made me stand up and said "I'm sure Dumbledore has taught you how to duel? We bow first." He bowed, and I stayed still. "Come on Harry. Dumbledore wouldn't want you to forget, now now." He flicked his wand, and made me bow. I hid after that, and he said "I want to see the light leave your eyes when I kill you Potter!" I walked out, and we started the duel. The ball of light reached Voldemort's wand, and people's spirits came out. Two cans next to me. They're my parents. They old me that they could distract Voldemort so I could escape, but that I would have to let go at the right time. When my mom told me to let go, I did, ran to Cedric, and used accio to get the cup. We teleported to the stands, and I started feeling my eyes water.

Aria
Harry back! Why's he crying? I stood up slowly as I realized Cedric was dead. I ran down the stands to help Harry, but when I got down Moody took Harry and Dumbledore held me back. I fidgeted, and shouted "no! Let me go to him! Professor please!" "Not right now, Ms. Wilson." I felt my eyes water, and I said "please!" He shook his head, and Hermione and Ron came. They pulled me away from the arena, and I resisted. When they finally got me out, I covered my eyes, and started crying. Hermione hugged me, and I said "he looked terrible!" She hugged me tighter, and then we heard footsteps. Ron turned around and said "Harry!" I turned around and saw him standing there. I ran to him and attacked him in a hug. He hugged me back, and I started crying softly. "I thought I lost you." Harry flinched, and then I pulled away. His arm had a knife cut in it, and he said "please, let's not talk about it now." I nodded, and hugged him again, but not crying this time. "Voldemort's back," he said. I gasped, and then hugged him tighter without hurting him. Ron and Hermione left, and we stayed like this. When Harry pulled away, he kissed me passionately, and I kissed him back. We stayed there for a few minutes, and then Harry pulled away. "I love you Aria." I smiled and said "I love you too."
