The Dementor Attack

Aria
We are back from Hogwarts now, and Harry is staying with us. When we came home, my dad was sitting on the couch. I gasped and said "dad! What are you doing here?" I hugged him, and he chuckled. "I thought I would come by for a little while." He looked at Harry and introduced himself. "Hi. I'm Mr. Wilson, Aria's dad." Harry shook his hand and said "I'm Harry. It's nice to meet you." My dad turned to me and asked "is he a friend of yours?" I looked at Harry and answered "well... he's my boyfriend." His eyes opened wide, and he repeated "boyfriend? Why didn't you tell me?" "I was waiting to tell you this summer." He then said "can I talk to him? Just us two?" I sighed, and walked upstairs. Harry looked terrified, but I mouthed don't worry. I waited for Harry to come up and see that my dad was not going to kill him.

Harry
Aria's dad wants to talk to me! Is he going to kill me? We sat down, and he asked "so, how did you meet my daughter?" I smiled when I remembered, and then answered "I met her when she moved here with her mom. She walked to my aunt and uncle's house next door and introduced herself. She saw me through her window and wanted to be friends." Even he smiled, and then he asked "and what does he mean to you?" I answered "she means everything to me. I was very unhappy before she moved in, and now she's saved me." He smiled and said "you're a good guy." I thanked him, and he let me go. I walked upstairs and Aria was writing in her journal. I sat down next to her and said "he didn't kill me." She looked at me and said "I told you he wouldn't." I kissed her cheek and said "I love you." "I love you too," she answered.

I told him my dad wasn't going to kill him! Harry smiled at me, and I giggled. "What?" He started leaning in, and we kissed. Harry cupped my face with his hand, and I put my journal in my table. We stayed like this for a bit, before there was a knock on my door. We pulled away, and I opened it. It was my dad. "Breakfast is ready, you two," he said. "We'll be right down," Harry said. My dad nodded, and then walked downstairs. Harry stood up and walked out of the room. After breakfast, Harry wanted to sit on a swing at the park and read The Daily Prophet, so I went with him. When we got there, Harry said "remember when we went here together when you moved in?" I smiled and answered "I remember like it was yesterday." He smiled, and then Dudley came. Harry had spent last night with them, and Dudley said "you were talking to your pillow last night." He was with his gang, and they started laughing. I felt my hands clench into fists, and he continued. "Don't kill Cedric! Who's Cedric? Your boyfriend?" "Shut it," I blurted out. "I forgot about you, Aria. How could you choose my cousin over me?" "He's a better guy than you'll ever be." He then got mad, and said "where are your parents, Potter? Are they dead?" Harry pulled out his wand and charged at Dudley. He pointed it at his neck, and the gang laughed. I was worried Harry would do something bad out of anger, so I said "Harry! Stop!" I walked to him and pulled him back a bit. He tried charging back at him, but I stood in front. "Harry, you're not like that. Ignore him." They sky became stormy, so we all ran. Dudley followed us, and we ran to a bridge nearby. When we got there, everything went cold. Dementors. "Harry, I'm scared." He held my hand, and then the dementors arrived. We started running, but Dudley slipped and fell. I started trying to run past him, but a dementor stopped me, and I was against the wall. I heard Harry's voice, and realized it wasn't him talking. I was listening to previous things he'd said. I heard him shout "expecto patronum!" There was a bright light, and I saw a stag. He moved his wand to me, and then Dudley. The dementors scattered, and Harry ran to me first. "Aria, are you ok?" I was breathing kind of heavily. "Yeah, I'm fine," I answered. He then went to pick up Dudley, and Mrs. Figg came. Harry tried hiding his wand, but she said "don't put away your wand, Harry. They might come back." She walked back with us, and we found out she's a squib. When we got back home, we walked inside with Dudley. Petunia called for Vernon, and then he said "you've finally done it." I was about to defend Harry, but he held my hand to stop me. An owl then came, and dropped a letter. It was from the Ministry. The letter flew in the air, and then a female voice said "Mr. Harry Potter. It was brought to our attention that at 6:23pm tonight, you used the Patronus Charm in the presence of a muggle. You are hereby expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hoping you are well, Mafalda Hopkirk."

Harry
Great, I've just been expelled from Hogwarts. Aria looked at me with a sad expression, and my uncle said "justice." I stormed out, and Aria followed me. We walked inside, and I headed straight to my room. I could hear aria calling me, saying "Harry! Wait up!" I closed my door and sat on my bed. She opened it, and then I stood up and punched the wall. "Harry!" I turned to face her, and she hugged me. She said "we'll figure this out. I won't let you go back to your aunt and uncle. I won't let them expel you. It's not fair." I could tell she was holding back some tears. I don't think they'll let me back in, so I said "Aria, I've been expelled. They won't take me back." She pulled away and then answered "you were defending us. If you hadn't done that, we would have been hurt." I sat back down on my bed, and she said "let's just relax for tonight. We'll think of something tomorrow, ok?" She sat down next to me and held my hand. I turned to her and leaned in. After a few seconds, we pulled away, and she said "I don't want you out of Hogwarts. I don't know what I would do without you." A tear fell, and I wiped it. "Relax," I said. She nodded, and I pulled her in for a hug. Her parents walked in, and asked "what's wrong?" Aria turned to face her parents and said "Harry's been expelled from Hogwarts." She choked that out, and her mom said "for what?" "For using the Patronus Charm to protect us!" "They can't expel you for that, Harry," said her mom. Aria's dad came and hugged Aria, while her mom talked to me.

My dad came and hugged me, and I said "they're going to take Harry away from Hogwarts." He whispered "they're not going to. He has to have a hearing first." After that, my parents walked out, and Harry said "Aria, whatever happens will not affect how much I love you." I nodded, and then we got ready for bed. I hope they let Harry back at Hogwarts!
