"Nate?"
Nate shifted in the bed next to Mat. "Hm?"
"What's wrong?" Mat asked him that every night. And every night, he gets the same answer: "Nothing."
"Are you sure?"
Nate nodded.
Mat sighed. "Nate, you know I love you, right?"
"That's nice."
And every night, his heart broke a little more.
