"Good to have you back." I said with my arm around Elise as we walked home.

"Good to be back." She replied with a grin.

"Did you have a good day? Everyone was nice?" Red asked, coming up behind me and taking my hand in his.

"Yeah, thanks." She smiled at him.

"This sidewalk is only wide enough for three people. Stop cutting me off." Hart grunted from behind us.

"Sorry Hart." Elise laughed, and dropped back to walk with her.

"You're forgiven. The other two, we'll deal with them later." Hart said in a serious tone. I can only hope she was joking.

"Nico's coming over tonight to hang with us." Elise remarked, her eyes shining with excitement.

"How are you guys?" Red asked, looking intently at the ground as he kicked a pebble.

"We're great. He's so amazing, I would marry him." She smiled.

"What's it like dating someone who doesn't make you want to jump off a cliff?" I asked jokingly.

"I can't answer that." Red shrugged.

"Fight me." I grinned.

"Square up." Red grunted, dropping his bag to the sidewalk.

"Do it, you won't." I teased.

"What a bunch of fuckin pansies." Hart muttered as she stepped between us and kept walking.

"Whatever." Red laughed, picking up his bag and walking after her.

"You guys are in loooove." Elsie sang as we matched paces.

"Whatever." I repeated, mocking Red.

"Cute." She hummed.

"Do you love Nico?" I asked.

"Someday I will. I know it." She smiled. Her eyes sparkled brighter than ever and I new that at that moment, both of us were perfectly happy.

We caught up to Hart and Red at our front door.

"Let's watch Spider-Man Homecoming!" Red yelled and charged into the living room.

"TFIOS!" Elise shouted.

"The Babadook." I laughed as I flopped onto the couch.

"The Office, season 4." Hart said calmly.

"The Office, season 4." I agreed.

"Sounds good." Elise said.

"Sounds great." Red smiled.

"Red," I said, "you're the Jim to my Pam."

"You mean it?" He asked, fake-tearing up a bit.

"I mean it. This burger's really good." I laughed.

"This burger's really good." He agreed.

Hart scowled and looked at Elise.

"What the fuck are these guys saying?"

Elise shrugged.

"'This burger's really good' is their always."
