Chapter 17: Always Be In My Heart

Percy Pov

I woke up and I didn't see Juliet and Roger in their sleeping bags. So I panicked and I thought what of Roger kidnapped Juliet to have her for himself.

"Megan wake up!" I whispered and half yelled.

She woke up quickly and looked at me and looked around and smirked when she didn't see Juliet or Roger.

"Where's Juliet? Oh and Rogers not here either?"

"It's not what you think Megan!" I said as I got up and started packing up.

She stood up and start packing up as well. "Well if she's not here and Rogers not here either, then what could you expect from a blonde?!" she said.

"Jeez lay off of Juliet for a minute!" I said.

She sighed and picked up her backpack and said, "Let's find them."

Annabeth Pov

I felt Rogers breath on my face and I looked at him. He was leaning in and when I felt his breath on my lips and I pulled away and turned around my back to him.

"Sorry.... Roger it's just I don't like you that way," I said.

"Oh...you like Percy right?" he asked me.

"Um..no...well yes.... it's complicated!" I said.

"It's not complicated if you just admit it Juliet," he said.

I sat down on a log that was near where I was standing. He sat down next to me and we looked at the riding sun in silence.

"I know I'm stuck in the friend zone and I know Percy is in the love zone but I hit any you to know that I'm here for you, " he said.

I looked at Roger and knew even if he weren't real he was a good person and when I get out of this place I'll always remember him.

"Even though I like Percy you will always be in my heart-"

I couldn't finish my sentence because just then Percy and Megan came out of the bushes.

"I thought you guys ran off," Percy said.

"No we just woke up to get done fresh air," I said.

"Oh okay," Percy said.

Megan looked bored, "Well in hungry and it's 6:30 so we can talk for a moment," she said.

"Yeah let's do that!" Percy said who sat on the log across from where I was sitting with Roger.

Percy was staring at me and Roger and wondered what I did.
