Chapter 15: Truce

Annabeth Pov

We we're walking to the coffee shop down the block. Percy was really quite it scared me a little.

When we got there Percy opened the door for me. "Thanks" I said and smiled at him.

He returned the smile and we went in, it was kind of crowded. We waited in line. We were next to get our coffees.

"What would you and your wife like?" said the lady behind the cash register.

I blushed and Percy did too. "Um I'm not his wife" I said.

"We're just friends I mean we just- we're just friends!" he said.

"Oh well guys look like a happy couple so I thought dating or marriage" the lady said.

"I'll take a decaf" I said wanting to change the subject. In reality I would have been Percy's wife and it just hurts knowing that I'm here instead of being in my real life.

"I'll take a half-cafe" he said.

We sat down and waited for our coffees and also for Megan and Roger.

I knew Megan didn't like me and I didn't like her either I had 3 days left to kiss Percy.
(A/N is it 3? Or 4? I'm doing 3 cuz this story will probably last till chapter 22)

Only 3 days and that was going to be really hard with Megan in the way.

"Here you go hope you enjoy!" said the waitress.

"Thanks!" Percy said.

We started drinking our coffee in silence. Till Percy spoke up.

"Tell me more about yourself" he said I looked up at him. I smiled at him and he raised an eyebrow.

"Well what do you want to know about me?" I said worried. I didn't even know that much about me I know me but not Juliet.

"More about you, like your favorite color and animal other stuff" he said.

"Well my favorite color is.... Sea green, favorite animal... horses, that's all you need to know about me!" I said.

"Oh sea green, horses that's it?" he asked.

"Well what about you?" I asked.

"My favorite color blue, animal horses, and I'm too loyal and I love blondes" he said and smiled at me.

"Blondes Percy?!" said a familiar voice.

I looked up and saw Megan crying and Roger just staring at me with a dreamy expression.

"Megan why are you crying?" Percy asked.

Well Percy asking that question doesn't surprise me because I think we all know he was never the smartest in our relationship.

"You even ask me! Percy all I wanted was for me and you to be together! But you like blondes!" she said and started sobbing causing attention to us.

"Megan maybe we should-" said Percy but got caught off by her.

"No! Don't touch me!" she said. (A/N well this paragraph is dedicated to @TalkNerdyToMeh)

"Let's go outside!" I said and Roger carried Megan out who was kicking him and screaming and Percy who said sorry to everyone in the shop.

When we got outside Roger let go of Megan who started cry.

"Megan listen to me!" said Percy.

"Why Percy, why would you love blondes?!" She cried to him.

I kind of got offended but I forgot about that right now.

"Megan I'm sorry if I hurt you but it's just.... I don't like you I only think of you as a friend" he said.

"What and you like Juliet who's got two boys head over heels for her!" she said.

"What are you trying to call me?!" I said to her.

"You know what I'm trying to say!" She said.

I was about to tackle her when Percy just stopped me.

I was breathing hard.

"Look guys let's just go to this place and we worry about this later!" said Roger who had been really quite.

"Good idea Roger!" said Percy. "From now on you two girls will get along and let's push our feeling behind now" he looked at Megan then me "and continue this trip, okay?"

I looked at him and he nodded and I shook my head. There's no way I was ever going to get along with Megan.

Megan smiled at me (a fake smile) and I looked at her, she was going to be a problem.

I took out my hand to offer it to her and said "Truce?" she shook my hand squeezed it hard but I was stronger so squeezed even harder and I smiled at her.

I let go of her hand I looked at Percy who smiled at me. "Let's go!" I said.

I walked next to Percy, Megan who walked next to Percy too, and Roger next to me.

I thought about what Megan said I have two boys who like me Percy and Roger.

Though I love Percy and Roger he's not even real!

This is not real! Nothing here is real! Megan isn't real! But my love for Percy here is real.
