We don't talk anymore. Like we used to do. We don't laugh anymore what was all of it for. We don't talk anymore like we used to...

Thomas's POV

I stared across the room where y/n sat with her friends. She was smiling and laughing at what her friends were saying. I remember when we used to laugh together like that.

I just heard you've found the one, you been looking for. I wish I would of known that wasn't me.

Y/n squeaked as hands enclosed around her waist. The bastard Dylan an old friend of mine. He gave her a cheeky smile as she peeked him on the lips. He knew that I liked her and he still pursued to get her. Some friend he was.

Cause even after all this time I still wonder why I can't move on just the way you did so easily.

You see y/n, Dylan and I were once a trio of friends. Then Dylan had to ruin it by excluding me and taking away the girl of my dreams. And y/n was to dazed in fantasy with Dylan to even realise that I wasn't around as much. I can't forget it though.

Don't wanna know kinda dress you wearing tonight if he's holding onto you so tight.

Dylan then kissed her on the cheek and then walked over to his group of male friends. Not before giving me a murderous look.

"Y/n i heard it's your date night with Dylan tonight! What are you gonna wear?" Her new friend asked. I think her name was sky.

Y/n's cheeks flared up and she looked down with a cute smile "well I bought this dress a couple days ago it's quite out there and not really something I'd wear but I'm just trying to make Dylan's jaw drop" her friends squealed.

You don't need a new dress to be jaw dropping when your smile is enough. Then the bell rang

I overdosed. Should of known your love was a game. Now I can't get you out of my brain. Ohh, it's such a shame.

My head span as I inhaled more of the smoke. This is my way of forgetting. The bathroom door then opened and Dylan walked in.

"I thought I'd find you here. It's kind of sad in a way. Getting depressed when you see me and y/n that you have to get high in the bathroom to forget" he smirked.

"What do you want?" I asked whilst crushing my joint on the floor.

"To warn you to never look at me or my girlfriend again" he said then a bunch of his new friends walked into the bathroom. That point I knew I was in deep shit.

I just hope you're lying next to somebody who knows how to love you like me. There must be a good reason that you're gone. Every now and then I think you might want me to come show up at your door but I'm too afraid that I'll be wrong.

Y/n POV

I could feel Thomas's eyes on me in class again. His eyes never wavered. Even whilst Dylan tried to discreetly glare at him. You see Dylan told me as soon as we went out that thomas didn't want to hangout with us anymore. When I try to bring him up in a conversation Dylan changes the topic. There must be a good reason he left.

I contemplate going over to confront him to find out why he left us but I'm too afraid that it might be because it might be my fault.

The bell then rang. It was lunch time. I gathered all my things

Dylan then walked over to me "I'll meet you in the canteen I've got something I need to sort out" he said before walking out with his friends.

He did come back later but with bloody fists.

My hands clenched together as I stood out of Thomas's house. What if he doesn't answer because it's me. I closed my eyes and was about to knock. No I can't do this! I thought. I began to walk off but then the door opened.

"Y/n" Thomas called out.

I turned back to him with a small smile but then it disappeared once I saw the state of him. Bloodied and bruised. A bust lip, a black eye and red marks on his cheeks. I gasped "Thomas what happened?" I asked walking over to him and placing a hand on his cheek.

He stepped back "why are you here?"

"I was worried about you. I haven't heard off you for three months why?" I asked a bunch of tears threatening to fall.

Thomas's eyes softened for a second before they hardened again "because we don't talk anymore" he said before slamming the door in my face. That's when the tears escaped.
