"Not many years passed since I joked I was going to do music," -agust'd from AGUST'D mixtape
School for the most part was utter hell. Min Yoongi despised school a lot. When his alarm rang early that morning he cussed as he rubbed his temples, knowing he had no choice but to go. He never was a social person. Although he did have friends, he still didn't speak as much as they did.
Yoongi spent a lot of time alone too. He never wanted to see people, he always was in his own world with his own dream.
Min Yoongi may seem like this anti-social freak, but he had a hidden talent. He's a rapper. Min Yoongi's mouth could spit a million words in only a couple of seconds. Every time he throws out lines he spits fire when he wants, to who ever he wants. That was just Yoongi's style.
When he dreadfully, got up from bed he pushed the play button on his mini stereo that began to play rap music. He turned the volume low so that he wouldn't wake up the other people living in the apartment. His head instinctively began bopping up and down to the beat. His mood being slightly lifted. A smirk formed on his face, due to the effect music had on him. It was almost as if the rap was guiding him through the day, pulling him to continue on.
He brushed his teeth, combed his hair, and changed his clothes slightly happier than most days. Yoongi, for once in his life wasn't in a bad mood this morning. A moment like this was very, very, very, rare.Getting out of his room dressed in dark washed jeans and a white t-shirt he was ready for his day.
"Good morning son"
Yoongi turned to face the eyes of his mother, "Good morning Eomma". He responded kissing her forehead. She looked up at her son remembering the days when he was smaller than she was. Now, her son had grown much taller than her.
"Hurry up and eat, I don't want you to be late." She said, tugging him towards the kitchen. She had just finished making his breakfast. Min followed his Eomma and they both sat down at their table.
A silence took place as he began to eat whilst Eomma drank her morning coffee. Usually he would make conversation with his mother in the mornings but today he couldn't make much noise. He knew his dad was home.
"What time did Appa come home last night Eomma?" He asked anyway, but in a low whisper. The eyes of his mother darkened a bit at the mention of his father. Yoongi knew Appa and Eomma didn't get along very well. Despite their differences though, they stayed together for their sons sake.
"Late," she responded taking another sip from her coffee, the warm liquid burning her tongue.
"Oh. How is he?" Yoongi couldn't help himself. He wondered a lot about his dad. He hardly ever saw him because his father was always out working. Sometimes when his father was home, Yoongi was out working. Like last night, Yoongi worked late, and missed the opportunity to see his dad.
"He is fine. At least I think he is." She said, her tone of voice changing. She wasn't in the mood to talk about him, especially since they had another argument last night. Min Yoongi could see the tension his mother had, causing him to assume that his parents didn't end on good terms. He hated the fact that his parents didn't get along. He wanted to ask more but he bit his tongue, he didn't want Eomma to get frustrated.
The rest of breakfast was silent.
When he finished, Yoongi got up and washed his dishes. He bowed thanking his mom for the food, and bid her goodbye. Walking outside of the apartment, Min Yoongi unhooked his bicycle from the metal rail. School was seven blocks away from home since he was on time, he knew he would make it. So, he got on his bike and headed his way.
As he pass local neighborhoods and stores he began to wonder about his unknown future.
Where would he be years from now? Would he be stuck here in this poor neighborhood forever? He imagined himself working at the local gas station charging people for their gas, or selling candy bars. Just the thought of it happening caused him to cringe. He didn't want to stay in this neighborhood. His parents envisioned him to remain here; there was a college near by where he lived. They wanted Yoongi to go there so they made him apply and he made it in. It's not like he wanted to but he only did it to make them happy.
The real plan was after graduation, he would chase his dream to become a professional rapper. Every time someone asks him his plans for the future, he always said he was going to be a rapper. When their response was a laugh, Yoongi would say he was just kidding and tell them he was going to college. No one believed in him, and that's what effected him the most.
His dream was going to be hard to achieve, especially if he kept going down the path of education.
Min Yoongi hated studies. He longed for success. He wouldn't find it in his studies, he would find it in music. He didn't care if the world around him laughed. Yoongi was going to do whatever it took to pursue his dream and nothing was going to stop him.

So here we have it, another awful chapter. I write this because I fell in love with Min Yoongi's story. What he told through his AGUST'D mixtape really touched me and I decided to write a fanfiction.
NOT EVERYTHING IN THE STORY IS ACCURATE THOUGH. I MADE SOME STUFF UP. ITS A FANFICTION!!! Please don't give me crap for saying that the story isn't accurate. Most of it is BASED off of what Agust'd told through the mixtape.
Also, I entered the DNA awards so it would mean a lot if you voted and shared. You don't have to to if you don't want to, but it'd be a HUGE help. You're an awesome person for giving this story a chance!
