What I said was peculiar, but we both shrugged it off and ordered pizza for breakfast. While waiting for pizza, we went online and searched for skins he could buy. I left him alone on the computer to buy whatever. In the meantime, I went back upstairs and washed up and took a regular morning shower.
I came back downstairs to pizza on the table already half eaten and a cart full of skins and armor with different textures. I furrowed my brows and hung my jaw slightly as I saw skins with the stupidest faces. "That's a joke, right?" I pointed at a skin with a derpy face. "No." He said and took another bite off his slice. "Okay, then that's a joke." I pointed at a skin that was like him, but blue ((psst EJM: Budder Edition reference)). "Hell nope." He smiled. I looked at him unamused, just noticing that his skin was still purple in some patches, but it's slowly becoming peach colored.
"This isn't a joke either." He said as he immediately clicked buy, my debit card already put on the account. I saw a payment of 217 emeralds. "What did you BUY?!" I widened my eyes as I reread the price. "Nothing much, just some bottle o' enchantment, a pig, a couple jackets, and shirts." He grinned. Bottle o' enchantments are expensive... "Wait, did you say pig?" I said, a little annoyed. "We could've just caught one!" He laughed at my annoyance and took another bite of pizza. "I know. I just wanted to piss you off." He said with his mouth full of the last bite. I don't even spend that much money on myself all in one go. I usually just buy some pendants, but this is ridiculous.
"Well, if you don't mind, I'm gonna shower." Ty got up from the swivel chair and stretched as he walked back upstairs. He doesn't know about canceling orders, huh? I canceled the pig and 7 bottles o' enchantment. My payment went down to 127 emeralds. They won't be here for another 2 weeks.
As I took an inventory check, the hushed rush of water upstairs and quiet ocelots running around was all I could hear. I thought about the running water as I checked on my iron. I thought about how Ty is in that running water as I absentmindedly put my hand in the empty chest. Then I thought about the skin under his clothes. That soft skin having water drop and roll down him gently. Thinking about how I could be like that water that gets to touch him gently.
I snapped out it and realized I'm out of iron. I was a little mad at myself for thinking about Ty in such a way. I heard the shower stop and footsteps walking around. I went to another chest and got out a budder pickaxe. I should teach him how to mine. As I packed up for a mining trip, I ate a slice of pizza. Ty came downstairs, dressed and hair wet with little droplets.
"What ya doing?" He asked, squeezing some water out of his hair. "Packing for a mining trip. I don't even have 1 iron ingot...anyways, mining is a basic thing here in Minecraftia. You up for mining?" I said as I packed stacks of torches. "Yeah, I'm in." He shrugged.
"You don't know how to mine, do you?"
"I've been around your neck long enough to know the basics."
"Good enough. But it's better when you have a hands on experience. Get a pickaxe." I pointed over to a double chest. He looked into it and frowned.
"Have anything that isn't butter?"
"No. That's why I'm going mining. Here, you carry our food and your own torches." I said as I threw him 3 stacks of torches and a stack of steak. He picked them up and followed me as I stepped on a pressure plate to open the iron door.
We walked out of the jungle biome and into a birch wood forest biome. Looking for a cave was a quiet trip, until Ty got whiny about taking too long. "Whining doesn't make a cave appear, you overgrown baby." I said, still searching for that hole in the ground. "But no." He pouted. We ended up going to a snowy forest biome and found a cave there. "I'm too tired. I don't wanna mine anymore." He flopped onto the soft layer of snow."...you're kidding, right?" I turned to him, eyes half lidded with an irritated frown. "Pft, duh. Let's go." He got up from the snow and ran ahead into the cave, wasting torches everywhere. I scoffed and broke some unnecessary torches, following after him.
The trail of torches stopped at Ty trying to get an iron ore on the wall. He only hit it once and expected it to be that easy. I disrupted him and mined it all the way through, showing him how it works. He said a simple "Oh" and mined the rest out. "Wow good job I think I got a dog treat around here to reward you!" I said sarcastically with a smug smile. "Yay- oh wait, hey!" He looked up at me in realization of what I meant. We both laughed and continued walking into the cave.
---
We walked so far to the point where we ran into a ravine, jumping down 30 blocks to the life saving water. By that time, we already smelted and crafted iron pickaxes and armor, though only Ty wore it. All i wore was a budder helmet. Nearby a pool of lava were a couple diamonds."I'll get it!" Ty ran over to it, almost falling into the lava. I panicked and ran after him, pulling him back. "Dude! Don't do that!" I said with a fast beating heart. He's gonna be the death of me. "It's okay as long as I got my lucky left foot on the ledge!" He smiled and walked on the edge over to the diamonds. "Lucky...left foot?" I raised my eyebrow as I watched him mine 3 diamonds. "My left foot." He repeated as he walked back over.
I walked to another tunnel as Ty mined some redstone behind me. I ran out of torches midway and turned to call Ty, but he wasn't behind me. "Ugh..." I rolled as I walked back. Right behind me, I heard a faint hiss. I reacted too late as the creeper blew up on me. "WEEZY" I yelled as the explosion threw me back 4 blocks, left with half a heart. I searched my inventory for food, but I remembered Ty had all of it. I groaned in pain, the air knocked out of me. Just in case, I took my sword out and limped.
"Ty?" I called out weakly, only my echo answering me. And here, I was worried he would get hurt. I got out of the tunnel and back into the ravine lit faintly by lava and torches. "Ty?" I called out again. "Ty, where are-" I stopped as I saw the faint glow of purple eyes and green headphones. Is he talking to an Enderman? I stood quietly, trying to make out what they were saying. The Enderman kept a calm position, while Ty looked a little frightened, worried even.
He nervously looked around. I limped as fast as I could behind some stone, getting closer. I could hear what they're saying, but it isn't English for sure. The Enderman let go of its calm look and showed a sympathetic one for Ty, kneeling down to him with a hand on his shoulder. Ty was shaking, grabbing tightly to his shirt, hyperventilating quietly in panic. The Enderman calmed him down, saying this in the gurgling sound endermen always make. Ty seemed to say something in that language as well, gaining back his own calm look.
The Enderman teleported away as Ty turned around, going back to mining. I his behind the stone, wondering what I should do. I didn't know what to say if he saw me here. Again, I'm too late. I found myself having eye contact with a surprised Ty. "How long were you here?" He said nervously.
(Wow I need to update sooner...)
