Your POV

"Wait, So you knew he like me and never told me?" I yell across the table at the restaurant.

"I encouraged him to tell you himself... I apologize, Lauren, I've never known him to be violent... Besides I though you were all anti- relationships." He smiles superiorly into his omelette.

"I am or at least I was... whatever." Lauren laughs at me.

"Yeah she's got her emotional wall, but underneath it she's all mushy and romantic." Lauren tells them.

"I said that if you met the right person that all that you would want all that 'domestic stuff'." He says using air quotes.

"Uh, your so fucking smug when you're right."

"So you admit I'm right." He says and high fives my sister.

"Come on Lauren, let's go hang out with your parents, they appreciate me." I stand up, but she pulls me back down.

"I like hanging out with your family, they're funny."

"See we're funny." My grandma says

"Don't encourage them." I tell her. "You say that now but imagine 22 years with them."

"I guess I'll find out." She says and snuggles closer to me. I kiss her which awakens a chorus of aw's. I flip them off but keep kissing her.

"How long are you all in town?" I ask no one in particular.

"Trying to get rid of us already?" My Mom asks.

"No. Not you, him." I point at my dad who does a mock offended look and laughs.

"Everybody has different plans, we'll be up here for at least a week. Cameron will probably be here the rest of the summer." My mom explains.

"Yeah, can I stay with you guys?" My sister asks.

"Sure we have plenty of room." I turn to 10 year old cousin next. "How long are you staying, Joe?"

"My friends having a party at the end of the week, so Mom and the gramps and I are all going home probably on Thursday."

"What?" I say pulling him closer. "You used to love hanging out with me, reading books and watching stupid tv shows."

"That was when I was like 6, you've been gone a while."

"Yeah and I'm going to be gone a while longer." I say quietly to myself. I've got to talk to Lauren figure out how this is going to work after summer.

Once we've finished eating, we pay the bill, but Joe has to go to the bathroom. He comes back running, "There's a bunch of people with cameras outside. I think there's a celebrity in here."

"Shit, I'm sorry. They are alarmingly good at finding out where I am." Lauren says, apologetically.

"Why would the paparazzi be after you?" My grandma asks.

Lauren looks over at me with her eyebrows raised. "Right... well Lauren is Lauren Jauregui of The Grammy winning girl group Fifth Harmony."

"Isn't Lauren the one you always used to talk about?" My Dad asks and I nod.

My aunt is the first to regain her composure, "Wait you're telling us that you're dating your Grammy winning celebrity crush?"

"Pretty much, Yeah." Lauren is just cracking up through all this and I suppose their expressions would be funny if I wasn't the one being questioned.

"What is your life?" "Have you been on tv?" And various questions like this are asked.

"I was Ellen." I say hesitantly, waiting for their reaction.
