Previously on Scream...
Emma Duval and Audrey Jensen face off against Ghostface only to find out that it's Emma's boyfriend, Kieran Wilcox. Kieran also turned out to be Piper's boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend?), which explains his grudge against Emma and Audrey. What a final surprise it was.
Eight months after Kieran's arrest, he is found guilty and basically sentenced to life in prison only to get murdered before that can happen. He is killed, none the less, by someone wearing the infamous Ghostface mask.
Noah and Stavo wrote a graphic novel about the murders and now their editor wants another hit. In order to cure Noah's writer's block, they head to Shallow Grove Island with the gang. Go figure, there is practically no one on the island and the island is known for murder. Enter, Alex Whitten, the so-called heir to the very family Stavo wants to write about.
Absolutely unsurprisingly, their new friend Billy is murdered and the police believe it is simply a prank. It is Halloween after all. A second body is found so they go to the only other person they know: Alex Whitten.
Audrey's girlfriend Gina shows up. They all suspect Noah and Stavo's editor Jeremy. Jeremy claims he is innocent, and Gina is jealous of Emma.
Surprise! Alex is not Alex, but he is the killer and Emma finds a newfound confidence despite being surrounded by murder.
Back in Lakewood, Brooke is going to New York. Emma wants to stay in Lakewood. Kevin mourns over Kieran's grave and Mr. James checks into Crescent Palms Motel.
What a wild season two it was.
