I walked next to Shye and some escorts,but I hardly noticed our escorts.

"So, we're partners."

she turned to see me.

  "Why me? I am from a family of misfits. I skipped gym half the time. Wyatt I am not that special. I will never beat the cops we have now! I am freaking out!"

I smiled and put my hand on her shoulders.

"Shyelena, we're gonna be the coolest cops ever, and I have no idea why they chose us, but I am so glad they did so come on."

We continued walking to the building. You could see the white pillars sitting on top of the hill. We walked through the doors and walked straight to a room with enclosed everything. There was no sound escaping that place ever.

"Anything you hear in this room will never leave this room," the escort said it in a way that I would not even dream of it.

Shye pressed herself into my shoulder. It was adorable. I looked down and saw those crazy eyes. So many different colors. They were so beautiful. Like I could look and marvel at them for hours kind of beautiful.

She looked away and I just sat there absolutely dumbfounded by her eyes.
