3rd person pov
charly locked her phone and slid it back into her pocket before turning to face harvey. " and just like that a month turned into a week " harvey sighed. " don't remind me " harvey wrapper his arms around charly as she buried her face into his chest. " i hope your nan is okay " " thanks harv " charly said.
all of their bags had been loaded into the rental car and they were ready go. as much as charly hated the fact she was leaving, the thought of her nan was overpowering all other thoughts she had. her nan had always been her best friend. as a kid they would always play together, making up their own games which always ended in hours of utter laughter. she wasn't ready to let her go.
" charly, time to go " her moms voice shouted from the car, causing charly to hold harvey tighter. " i don't want to go harvey. i'm too scared to see her " charly's voice wobbled as she held back the tears. " be strong for her charly, i'm sure she wants to see you" charly nodded and pulled herself from harvey's grip. " see you soon harv " she smiled through the heart break and then planted a soft kiss on harvey's cheek, surprising both of them. " goodbye charly "
and with that, charly climbed into the car. the engine started and the two internet friends made eye contact through the window.
the car drove off into the distance, leaving harvey stood there waving them off.
